You could say that Akiko Masumi is my signature character. Maybe even an alter-ego. I've certainly written a lot about her. She's kind of like Marlo Thomas in That Girl, in that everyone wants to hypnotize her or marry her or fight her to the death. Yeah.

Here's where it all started and I caught the writing bug.

Gina & Seth: What's a guy do when his girlfriend breaks up with him? He enlists the aid of a secretive French company that specializes in mind control technology, of course. But Gina doesn't take any shit from anyone, which is fun to watch when people try to hypnotize her.
Grace & Gina: If you loved Gina, wait until you meet her sister. She has quite a knack for getting into trouble.

Set in a distant future where humanity has tinkered with its genes and colonized the galaxy, these tales follow an unlucky young descendant of a race of sexual superbeings. What do you do when you're genetically predisposed to fascination with bright, flashing lights? Oh, and you're unholy hot.
