"What's the matter?" Hamilton asked. They were walking slowly in the
grounds, where no one could overhear.

"What do you mean?"

"You're nervous. Want to tell me about it? That's the second thing
you've broken this week, and it's only Tuesday." He wasn't angry with
her but it was clear that he detected a problem and wanted it solved.

"Truth?"

"Uhuh."

"I'm climbing the walls. I haven't had sex for a month. I can't take
this any more. I know I'm supposed to be needy when this mission
finally starts but this has gone too far. I can't think straight."

"You been touching yourself in secret?"

"No! How could you even ask that?"

"Well, if things are getting that bad..."

"Well, I haven't," she snapped.

"Good, good." He smiled at her. "So what do you want to do?"

"I'm in a luxury villa with three good-looking guys. What do you think
I want to do?"

He laughed. "I see your point, but there's no way. Mission rules state
that no one lays a hand on you yet."

"Who'd know?" she protested.

"That isn't the point. Just think what would happen if anyone found
out."

"Are you going to tell them? You think I would? And are you telling me
that Jake or Lucas would talk?"

"They might. They might be so pleased with themselves they'd brag."

She gave an exasperated sigh. "You don't believe that."

He shrugged but she ignored his skepticism and pulled him over to a
bench in the shade of a palm tree.

"Let's review the mission rules," she said, as calmly as she could.
"We stay up here and watch the boat. When Desfarges finally leaves,
you guys rape me, beat me up a bit, and then let me escape. I run down
to the boat and ask my new friend Melissa for help. If they take the
bait, we just might get to find out what Desfarges is up to."

"So?"

"So why should the boys brag about having me? They're going to have me
anyway."

She was good at reading him, and she could tell that the matter was
more or less balanced in his mind. Now she just needed to tip the
scales.

"There's something else."

He raised an eyebrow. "Go on."

"I'm going to break the rules anyway. I have to. If I carry on like
this, I'll blow the mission." She licked her finger, smiling as the
realization hit him, and then she ran a hand under her skirt,
wriggling a little to dip it below the waistband of her underwear.
