Hardware
  The porch glider at Grandma's summer home gave way. "Good thing it 
wasn't your granny on it," Dad told Delia.
  "I wasn't messing around, I was just swinging," Delia insisted.

"These have been here since I was a boy. Now that you're old enough

   Gorman's Hardware was dark and dusty. It smelled like lint. "Can I 
help you, Miss?" the old man up front asked Delia. She explained. The 
old man binged the bell. "Brad, show this young lady the ropes."
  What a hunk Brad was! Muscled butt, big shoulders, and the cutest 
ears. He smelled like smoke and straw and something more. Something 
which made Delia's middle clench. From the display, various samples 
dangled down. Delia fingered the length of cock-thick hawser. "I need 
a bathroom bad," she told Brad. "Can you show me where one is?" 
  In the tight cubby, Brad's stiff rope swung Delia's pretty porch.
