The Library Saga 1/?? (MF, some voy, intro)


Introduction

Three years, three months and two days.  That's how
long I've been working at the best job in the world. 
Ok, maybe that's exaggerating just a bit, but my work
in the Library has provided hours of entertainment. 
From my vantage point at the reference desk, I observe
a daily parade of women of all ages and types.  You
never know from day to day what the view will be like.
 The following stories are inspired by what I have
seen.

This brings me to the cast of characters.  I have cast
myself as the hero of the story (or villain I suppose,
depending on your point of view).  I am fairly average
in all respects of appearance:  medium height, medium
weight, brown hair and gray/green eyes.  These
attributes have some advantages.  They allow me, at
times, to fade into the background and observe the
events of the day as they unfold.

My wife is similar, in some respects, to myself.  We
are nearly the same height and have a similar build,
at least as far as gender differences allow.  We are
nearly a perfect match in all ways.  We have been
married for over 10 years and have three children. 
Our work schedules overlap, so we don't get to spend
as much time together as we might like, but we get
together often enough.  Of course, being married ten
years and having three children has somewhat tempered
the torrid romance that we enjoyed the first years we
were together.  This is not to say that we don't enjoy
the chances we get for romantic activities.  I suppose
we could be compared to a classic sports car.  We may
be hard to start after sitting in the garage for a
while, but once we get warmed up we can really burn up
the road.

She doesn't mind me watching other girls, but I am
forbidden to go any further.  That doesn't mean that I
can't use my imagination a bit though.

Working in a library, my coworkers, for the most part,
are women.  Librarians have the reputation for being
brittle, acerbic old hags.  Unfortunately, that is
true for some of them.  There are, however,
exceptions.

Sandra, one of our behind the scenes people that
processes the incoming books, is young, voluptuous and
fashions herself as something of a goth.  She is
single.

Kate is also young.  She is slender and bookish, but
sweet and gentle.  She is newly married.

Cassandra is very tall and athletic.  She has a dry
sense of humor.  She is married as well.

Kelly is short and curvy (she might be described as
mousy I suppose).  She is also married.

Marisol just started at the Library.  She is a curvy
Latina.  She is so new, I don't know whether she is
married or not.

Belle is "girl next door" pretty.  She has nice curves
and long, curly, light brown hair.  She is married.

Vivian is medium height and slender.  I don't believe
she is currently married, but she has twin daughters
about 4 years old.

There is also a group of teenage girls (well, most of
them are girls anyway (there are a few boys, but I
don't really go for those kind of backdoor
shenanigans, if you know what I mean)) that re-shelve
items and straighten furniture.  They are legally
unavailable, but that doesn't stop me from admiring
them.

They are each beautiful in one way or another, but
Paige is probably the cream of the crop.  She is tall
and slender with long blonde hair and a very fair
complexion.  Even though she is slender, she is
developing some very nice curves.

Hannah is shorter, somewhat fuller figured and curvy. 
She has medium length straight brown hair.  She is
also a cheerleader at her high school (yum).

Luna is a well proportioned African American girl. 
She's on the dance team at her school and it shows
(her body is, in a word, fantastic).   She wears her
hair fairly short and she usually wears it pulled
back.

Kim is the newest girl.  She is a nice medium in about
everything.  She also has nice fair skin and a few
freckles.

Sherrie has been here the longest of the group (she
has actually been here longer than I have).  She also
has a fantastic body.  Every time I see her, I look
her up and down (mostly down, she has wonderful legs).
 She has a fairly dark complexion and long brown hair
with a spiral-curled perm.  I believe she is in her
second year of college, and of legal age incidentally.

When I see Maggie, I instantly think Irish (I don't
know whether she is or not).  She has long, straight
blonde hair, a fair complexion with an elfish upturned
nose and rosy cheeks.  She is a cross country runner
at school and has a slender, athletic build.

These teenage positions have a lot of turnover (they
usually graduate from high school and move on).  That
provides a fairly steady stream of fresh faces and
bodies to enjoy.

Well, that's the regular cast.  There are, of course,
more stereotypical librarian types as well as a few
men at the library.  They will be included and
introduced as necessary.

As this is a public library, there will also be a cast
of thousands of more transient players.  These run the
gamut from tight little teeny-boppers to frail
grandmotherly types (thought I doubt many of the
grandmothers will be useful for the purposes of these
chapters.

These stories are inspired by my life.
