One morning, Cindy calls Bob to request that he help her with her
computer. You see, Doug, Cindy's boyfriend, used to do all the
computer repairs, but since he walked out on her it hasn't worked
quite right. Cindy seems upset, in general -- Doug has found someone
new. This all seems rather strange to Bob, considering that Cindy
had walked out on him not so long ago because she'd found someone
new. Reluctantly, Bob agrees to help his former girlfriend, and old
emotions gets mixed around when it becomes clear that Cindy isn't
only looking to get her iMac fixed.
Given the thrust of the story, I thought that the depth of the
detail of the computer repair didn't quite fit. I'm not sure it was
necessary for realism, and I suspect most readers won't care which
AirPort base station Bob had to reset. However, that's just a
suggestion for artie about story focus.
The overall story is very well written. I really enjoyed the glimpse
into a more realistic relationship with characters that actually
feel something beyond a tingle in the groin. Artie tackles a tough
subject here. Even if she's hot, and she needs comfort, is it right
to resurrect a broken relationship? I suppose you'll have to read
the story to see.

Kinky -- Robin Curious

things. Robin is a little hesitant when he straps her wrists to her

This is another story of sexual discovery from Robin that, for some
reason, piques my interest. Robin has a way of description that
flows and provides character and depth along with the hot sex and
kinky adventures. While Robin, the character, certainly enjoys her
adventures, she comes across as honest and real beyond her sexual
drives.

The Wager -- Nujbaf

Ash has managed to get himself in with the wrong crowd. And there
are consequences for getting in debt to the wrong people. In
exchange for his life, Ash has agreed to a rather heavy sacrifice:
Veena, his wife. The mobster, James, wants her, and Ash needs more
time. Veena reluctantly agrees to save her husband. What neither of
them expected was the wager that went along with it. All or nothing.
And perhaps that's why I was taught not to play with mobsters.
Overall, this story was well written. The prose is clean and
readable. The plot and action interesting. For me, the sexual
content was a little over described, but for most, I imagine it will
be fine.
After all the build up, which I liked, I found the ending more than
a little weak and unsatisfactory. Nevertheless, for most of the
story the character was strong and the plot intriguing.

The Longest Light -- Uther Pendragon

Lauren, Samantha, Hal and Lance decide to go to a secluded ridge to
usher in the new summer equinox. However, Samantha and Lance want to
spend the night in a motel instead, so Lauren and Hal are left alone
to cover for their friends until morning. Lauren doesn't know if she
wants to go all the way with Hal or not, but she does love him, and
there are certainly other ways to keep warm on a cold mountaintop.
I'll admit that, especially at the beginning, I was very confused as
to the relationships between the friends. It wasn't really until I
was halfway through the story and Sam and Lance peeled off from the
group that I began to understand who the story was really about.
This might have been intentional, or perhaps I wasn't reading
closely enough. There were also a lot of needless details in the
story. Author's perogative, of course, but I think the same story
could have be told without the details of bathroom breaks or even
the presence of Sam and Lance. Then again, Uther did paint a pretty
vivid picture of the setting and atmosphere. I guess sometimes
certain writing styles appeal to different readers. In this case, I
wanted more focus to the story, but that could be me as an author
talking. Other readers might really like the elements of realism
that the extra descriptions provide.
Overall, I liked the story. 'tis a tale of young love, indecision,
caring and discovery. Always nice to see more than the standard wham
and bam.

Three Mismatched Socks -- juanwildone

"Three Mismatched Socks" is actually three late entries into
Desdmona's stocking contest. Three flash pieces -- "Shoes and
Socks," "Initiation," and "Stalking." "Shoes and Socks" is about a
lost wager and a naked morning jog. "Initiation" involves a sorority
rite of passage. And "Stalking" (I just realised the pun here) is
perhaps the best of the bunch, involving office voyeurism and a duck
blind. You'll have to read them to get more details than that.
I liked the flow of these pieces. They weren't overly explicit, and
they were fun in an oddly thematic way.

Rebel 039 - Duty Calls -- Old Bill

Another entry in the "Rebel" series. Our tireless narrator is on
guard duty when the lady of the house approaches him. Apparently
the maid, Jassy, has been telling tales of his prowess between the
sheets, and has piqued the curiosity of the quartermaster's wife.
Never one to deny a lady pleasure, and after a quick rest, our
soldier of fortune gives her what her husband can't.
For me, there was a little too much emphasis on the sex, and our
narrator's proficiency and endowment. But I suspect that's just me.
Old Bill has managed to slip some character and plot into this
segment and I liked the glimpse into revolutionary times. At least
I think that's the time frame we are looking at. At any rate the
historical glimpse remains fun.

Accidental Prostitute -- David Lavenham

Emily is a prostitute, selling her body to pay for her University
courses. Don't get her wrong ... it wasn't exactly a planned thing.
While joking with a boy she'd met at a party, she accidently ended
up discovering how easy it is to make money by being a slut ...
something she'd be doing anyway. But when her Senior Tutor gets wind
of her activities, things change a little. Or do they?
What was lacking from this story, for the most part, was depth. It
really only amounts to a series of prostitution encounters. That's
fine for some, but I wanted Emily to grow in some way beyond
learning that she loves fucking for money.
The story needs some clean up technically. Lots of misspelled and
mispunctuated text. It's readable, but I was constantly being jarred
out of the story when David didn't bother proofreading.
Nevertheless, if prostitution fetish combined with a shallow plot
turns your crank, this one might be for you. Otherwise, give it a
pass.

Ruth is led naked into a clearing where she can see and hear a
nearby road. Dusk is falling as her wrists are bound, her eyes
blindfolded and she is urged to her knees. She isn't surprised by
the parade of hard cocks that press against her lips. One by one,
she services the line of men until the last is satisfied. She then
is released, and we find out why she has been put into this
position.
I have to admit that the imagery was fun, at least if you are into
this kind of play. It isn't for everyone, but I think Trybble does a
better than average job with the sex.
Unfortunately, the story is pretty much only about the sex. While
we get a little insight into Ruth's character, I was disappointed
with the ending -- for me, it cheapened the entire story and seemed
a little shallow. I actually liked Ruth and had some sympathy for
her, up until the end. Oh well, that's only one Dragon's opinion.
Others might actually like the ending.
Overall, read it for the sex and the setting.

Cold Beer -- Bonfils

The desert bar is about to close when Sara enters and sees a skinny
bartender serving last call to his only other customer, Billy, who
sits alone. She challenges them to subject her to something new. In
response, they find something new. Sara gets a new experience (I
think) when the two men pour cold beer over her entire body, and
needless to say, Sara loves every second of it.
This story is all about the sex. I'll admit that it is a different
sort of sex -- but really it falls into a "fetish" sexual niche. I
think that if you really, really are into pouring beer over naked
women, this will appeal to you. Otherwise, there really isn't much
else to it. Personally, this Dragon isn't so much into pouring beer
over lovers, at least not in the quantity described here. Even so,
the sex is over described, thus the lower Eros score. Beyond that, I
can't really recommend the story -- while the technical aspects make
the story readable, the characters are exceptionally shallow and the
plot is barely comprehensible.

Sonoma Threesome -- Myers

After a while, the women join him, and after discovering his
predicament, they decide that lounging sans suits would be more

When the conversation swings around to oral sex, our narrator is a
little uncomfortable, but as the night progresses, and all three
find themselves in bed together, life becomes more wild than any of
them ever imagined.
Myers takes a different approach here to a classic threesome story.
He adds some character, some realistic plot, and some humanity to
the mix. Instead of wild abandon where everyone thinks that the
threesome is the best idea since the double-headed dildo, we see
that these decisions aren't always made lightly. This makes the
ultimate resolution of the story far more believable and
understandable for us readers. I for one appreciate the injection of
humanity, and I suspect most readers will as well.
The hot sex doesn't hurt either.
