Chapter 19


When we got home we all got undressed. We'd spent an unusual amount of time

"Sniff...sniff...G..G..Grampa Carl? Are you a..sniff wake?"


I turned toward the voice. I could barely make out her outline in the dark.
It was Patty and she was crying softly. I reached out to her and pulled her
closer.


"I'm here Patty. What's wrong? Why are you crying?"


"I..I'm s s scared. I always sleep with my daddy and I I I've never been
away b b before. C c can I s s sleep with you?"


I lifted the covers and made room for her.


"Sure you can sweetheart. It's safe here. You just curl up next to me and
go back to sleep. It's okay now."


She slipped into the bed and put her back against me in the classic spoon
position. I thought that would be it and she'd go to sleep that way but she
wanted more. She repeated what she had done on the couch earlier and pulled
my cock between her thighs and held it with her legs closed. That was all
she needed. I could feel her relax and very soon heard her breathing slow
and she was asleep. I held her close and went back to sleep. It felt good
to me to have company in bed too. We both slept better after that.


When morning stuck its nose in the window we woke up still holding each
other close. Patty was watching me when I opened my eyes. She smiled when
she realized I was awake and put her arms around my neck and pulled me into
a warm kiss. She used her tongue to make it even nicer and I was enjoying
it when Callie came in.


"Well. What do we have here? Someone sneak into Grampa's bed during the
night?"


Patty looked a little ashamed but I held on and spoke first to get her off
the hook.


"I was feeling lonely and Patty came in to keep me company so I could
sleep. It was very nice to have her keeping me safe all night."


Patty giggled when she heard my story. Then she kissed me again and slipped
out of the bed and was gone in a flash. I just couldn't seem to hold on to
the women in that house any more.


"It's time you got up old man. The others are up and we'll be ready for
breakfast in a few minutes."


She came over and gave me a kiss but cut it short before I could do
anything. Once again I was left alone in bed. I figured I may as well get
up since it didn't look like I was going to get any wake up surprise. I
went in and took care of my morning routine and then went out for
breakfast. The family was all there and greeted me with good morning kisses
but they were all quick and light. I was getting a definite feeling that
something was going on and I was not in the loop. I was going to put my
foot down but decided if I did it might end up in my mouth so I stayed
quiet.


Sunday morning meant the funny papers for the kids and the sports section
for me. Callie and Jenn seemed to have something keeping them busy. The
rest of us just took it easy and loafed around. The morning slipped by and
I found myself watching a football game on TV with Patty on my lap again.
This time she was curled up with her head on my shoulder and sitting
crosswise on my lap. It was nice and I didn't say anything. After a while
she looked up at me and spoke.


"Thank you for what you said this morning. I didn't want the others to know
I was scared last night. I felt good sleeping with you. It was very nice."


"I enjoyed it too Patty. You can share my bed any time you want to. You
helped me sleep better too."


We had our big Sunday dinner in mid afternoon and were all stuffed. It was
a good day and we all felt rested and enjoyed the company. Nothing big
happened and that in itself was a nice change.


I did notice there was an awful lot of whispering going on from time to
time. Callie and Jenn and the girls seemed to be up to something and they
had no intention of letting me in on it.


Early that evening Frank came to pick up Patty and take her home. He
thanked us for having her over and said the time with Emily had been very
special and they were both grateful for it. We all said it was our pleasure
and we looked forward to having her over again soon.


It was a school night so it was off to bed for the young ones soon after
Patty left. I got my good night kisses but nothing more. I was beginning to
get frustrated with the lack of attention. When it was time for the rest of
us to go to bed I didn't say a word. I just went to bed alone with no
comment and had the light out before Callie came in to kiss me good night.
She stood in the door for a minute and then left. I was to be alone again.
I hoped I'd find out the next day what the hell was going on. If things
went on the way they were I thought I might have to jack off soon to get
any fun.


I slept fitfully that night but managed to get some rest. Perhaps the start
of a new week would bring something good.
