There was a discussion in assd between Mat Twassel and Katie McN about
to outline or not to outline (even for a flash story).  The discussion
did not come to any resolution but several people used the outline as
the basis for a story.  Here is mine.

   "Bye, Mom." yells Amy as she dashes off to school.  Joe, Amy's
father, coming down the stairs thinks: "Eighteen and still slamming
