Hammon Wry's Words of the Day for Monday January 27, 2003
Note: Due to copyright laws, I am hesitant to include the definitions
and pronunciations of the words of the day.  I have provided the
websites for each so that you can look up the words for yourself.  

Dictionary.com provides a free utility call "Clever Keys" that allows
you to highlight an unknown word, hit CTRL+L, and it will take you to

This is an excersize in writing discipline.  I am trying to get into
the habit of writing something every day.  I figure if I use the words
of the day from two sources in a sexual context, I will have
inspiration and motivation.

....'Kill you?  Oh, no, Boats.  You *will live* to regret your
stupidity.  Believe me, you won't want to, but you will!'    The
Captain held the boatswain's mate by the arm twisted up behind the
man's back, and growled the apodictic words into the hairy ear over
his shoulder.  'You have been stupid, clumsy, and insubordinate since
the first day I took control of this ship, Eustace.'

Eustace winced at the use of his Christian name.  He'd always been
known as 'Scurvy Jack' to men equal or higher in rank, and 'Yessir,
Boats!' to his subordinates.  The captain gave his arm another vicious
twist.  

'First for leaving her on the wet floor in the lowest cabin on the
ship to ruin a valuable dress that could have been sold.  And
secondly, for instigating a near mutiny in my men with talk of
despoiling valuable merchandise.  Do you have any clue how much
high-born virgins go for in Araby?'

Eustace shook his head, sweat standing on his worry-furrowed brow.
The salty drops began to drip into his eyes.  

'Obviously not.  So I will go easy on you.  Now which of the
suggestions voiced earlier will you fulfill, hmmm?  Perhaps I should
put you in the barrel, butthole to bung, and leave you for the men to
use?  Too bad it's not capacious enough to hide your ugly bulk.  I
think the men will simply have to close their eyes when they rape your
hairy arse as you struggle against the ropes that tie you over the top
of the barrel.  Perhaps I'll tie the girl to the mast in front of you,
to give them inspiration?  Have her see you fulfilling her role?'

Eustace knew it was no empty threat.  By morning, bleeding and torn,
he would be released to crawl to the ship's doctor for treatment.  The
sailor shuddered in the captain's captive grasp.
