I originally posted this on ASSM in February 2001. I didn't code it
(tort), because everything is consensual.  Not sure if that is valid
logic, though.  Just that consensual things put limits on what most
people will do, and ordinarily would keep my stories out of that
"torture" category.

Part 0 of 3 - Intros and Explanations

This story was created for the ASSTR 2nd Server challenge.  On or
about February 17, 2001, ASSTR added a 2nd server to improve
performance on the site.  Many authors created stories for this
event.

This story ran up to me and tackled me from behind, forcing me to
write it. I might have resisted, but the ASSTR 2nd Server
challenge was on, and I needed some story idea to fill it.  So,
if you find it excessively disturbing or whatever, don't blame me
for it.

Something nice and short, exciting, sexy, that was what I wanted. 
Quick to finish, so I can continue working on other stories. 
This idea could have been that, except that as I started to write
it, more detailed popped up, and in no time at all (it seemed, it
was a few hours) I had a whole chapter full of prose, and was
only in the middle of scene I, act I.

I wanted to do the entire tale, not leaving the story unfinished,
hanging.  That might be OK for a regular posting, but for the
challenge I did want a complete thing, not part of a series. 
Besides, I'm sure that you'd want to know as much as I whether
Sandra, the brave leading lady, wins her bet or not.

As for inspiration, it is a cat lover's nightmare.  Or dream, if
you are into painful things.  Those who have cats often claimed
to be cat-owned rather than cat-owners.  Not all would go so far
to serve them as Sandra does.

The heart of this tale is centered around the girl and her cats,
as the codes might suggest. Her master and lover helps set up the
scene, but plays little part is resolving it, nor is he part of
the bet directly.  Though I wrote him as male, very little would
change if he were a she.

If the main character were male, though, a lot of details would
change.  I found my sympathetic reactions to Sandra's situation
tricky to deal with, and a male counterpart would be even more
intense.  For me at least.
