Sapphic Festival Entry #4 ---- A: Sapphic Poetry
Poem: A Single Moment More
by J. Darksong
A dream, of bright and brilliant
gold; a crown of sunshine,
framing a face of porcelain
perfection.
Those eyes, such a vibrant blue,
to gaze into their gentle warmth
fills me, touches the deep
and very heart of me.
To feel those crushed satin lips,
crimson red, softer than silk,
pressed against my own, drawing
my very breath from me.
Your touch, when it comes,
is bold, not soft; it strokes
the raging fires within my heart,
my rapid racing heart.
I respond to thee, my body
curves, my spine arcing to press
my softness closer to thine on,
seeking closeness.
My passion burns within me
deep, the pleasure your touch
bestows upon me, send my juices
trickling forth.
A moment more, with you,
I pray--- to seize you now and
hold you tight, to feel again
our hearts in tandem.
To know once more life's
greatest joy, to feel the pleasure
as our bodies join, our souls
merging into one.
