catch the single drop of blood

it blossoms salt
and iron there. 

My mind explodes
with an unknown fire
and I shudder.

I wrap my arms around your chest, 
palms sliding downward over 
sweatslick skin

Lean close to your head
and whisper warm into your ear
"Mine."

I hear your soft-breathed 
reply
just as my hands 
slip between your legs
"Yours".
