It does contain explicate sex scenes in it. But it also contains a plot. If those things offend you, please read no farther. This first chapter does not have any sex in it. It's mostly set up. This is my first mind control story so I would appreciate it if you would tell me what you think. I got the inspiration for this story from another story I read. It was called "CAMP" and it was written by a very talented writer that goes by the name of Net Wolf. I really thought that story was great and if I would recommend a good MC story, it would be that one. BTW, the Shadow Knight Universe (SKU) is open to write in as long as you do not write about Marcus or make your character stronger than him. The other rule is that I'm the first person you mail it to :) Please send me your thoughts on this story. If you don't, I won't know whether or not to write another chapter. :) You can reach me at Matrix Legion@aol.com Please excuse the grammar. Chapter 1 Marcus Williams was not your average teenage boy, that much was for certain. His looks were average enough though. He had light blonde hair and crystal blue eyes that almost seemed supernatural. He was in good shape, but this was not because he worked out. It was because it just came natural. At seventeen years of age, his body was cut with muscle and he never worked out or played sports. His good looks came as natural as his silence and shyness did. That was his problem. Marcus was just to damn shy. His adopted mother once said that he had a dark spirit. It was just a joke, but she hit closer to home than she realized. Marcus had a problem with trusting anyone. But he also had good reason for this. Marcus was thrown into the world of foster care when he was just an infant. In his time, he had been through nine different foster care homes. Marcus had been taken out of four of them for severe mental and physical abuse. Some of them beat him until he was hospitalized and there was two of them that actually stabbed him several times. Over the years, Marcus put up a sort of mental shield that nobody could penetrate. He did this so that none of the ridicules or harsh words would affect him. But in doing so, he also locked out the people that wanted to help him. Marcus loved no one for years. Then came a woman by the name of Kathy Williams. This woman took him out of foster care and adopted him. The people around him called it foster care but he called it "Hell's Outhouse". But what ever you call it, this woman had saved him from the hell that he endured. He was eleven when she came. Marcus was very skeptical of her at first, to say the least. But over the six year period, he began to open up to her little by little. Marcus did admire the woman. She had both beauty and spirit. She hardly ever disciplined him, mainly because he never gave reason, and when she did; it was just being grounded. The woman never raised a hand to him. Never. Marcus often found himself looking at her. Taking in her beauty. Kathy had long lustrous black hair that went down to the middle of her back and emerald green eyes that a boy could get lost in if he was not careful. She was in her mid thirties but had the body of a model that was in her twenties. Her breasts were rather large, but they stood firm. Marcus liked looking at such beauty. It seemed to settle his mind. The thing that amazed Marcus the most was the fact that she was single when she had adopted him. The heiress to her father's fortune. Kathy had all that money, but she wanted a child. Well, she already had a child. A daughter. But she wanted a son as well. The daughter she had was a year younger than Marcus. The girl she had was full of spit and vinegar. She named her Elizabeth, but for some reason everyone called her Mouse. Which was quite odd because she was anything but quiet at the age of sixteen. She had already been kicked out of school several times for cursing and fighting. This girl would fight anyone on the drop of a dime. Her beauty matched her outlandish behavior though. She had short and sassy black hair and deep blue eyes. At the age of sixteen she had curves that made the girls at their school green eyed with envy. She was a little over endowed in the chest department. Being a die hard tom-boy, she of course hated this. She liked to wear big T-shirts and tight jeans. Even with the money her mother had, Mouse preferred to dress in less expensive clothes. Because of her outlandish rebelling against most figures of authority, Marcus took an instant interest to her. He would not speak to Mouse or her mother that first year. But he started to open up little by little as he watched their actions. He liked to watch Mouse closely. She was always unpredictable and he loved her for it. After a while he opened up to Mouse the most. Within two years, she was his best and only friend. He told her things that he never dreamed of telling anyone. They would often sneak into each others rooms late at night just to discuss their dreams and fears. Their conversations would last for hours at a time. It would be safe to say that Marcus loved her more than anything else in the world. Marcus was strange in other ways as well. He never dressed in anything that was not black. He usually dressed in black button-up Faded Glory shirts. He preferred black Levi jeans and there was something else that he never went without. Well, actually there are two things that he never went without wearing. The first was a pair of small, round and mirror plated sunglasses. They were just big enough to cover his eyes and keep light out. He wore these for two reasons. The first was that he was a firm believer that you could read almost any emotion in a person's eyes and he did not like showing emotion. The second was that his eyes were sensitive to light for some cause. Never the less, people thought it strange he wore them day and night. The second item was a necklace. It looked to be a piece of smoked crystal with a golden claw attached to the silver necklace part that went around his neck. He had it for as long as he could remember. Marcus didn't remember getting it and he had a sneaking suspicion that who ever gave him up for adoption put it on him. He thought that it was a miracle no one tried to take it when he was smaller. Marcus thought that he had come to the calm part of his life in the spring of '95. Everything was going his way and it seemed that life had finally been set into a firm rut for him. That things might be this way forever and he really did not mind. This was the first time that life had swayed to his favor and he wanted it to stay that way. He woke on that fateful Monday morning to the blare of a very loud alarm clock. It was that dreaded time for him. He had to go to school. It was not that he did not like learning, in fact, he had read more books than most of his teachers. Marcus hated school because of the people that were there. It was not because he was afraid of them, Marcus was not much afraid of anything. He just didn't trust them. He crawled out of bed and got dressed in his usual attire. He looked at himself in the mirror before he slipped his shirt on and realized that he was more muscular than most boys his age. It puzzled him as to why. With this puzzlement, he slipped his shirt on. Then he reached and slipped on his mirror plated shades. Marcus walked out of his bedroom and headed down stairs. The closer he got he could smell bacon cooking. He thought this was odd sense he knew that Kathy was not home. She left last night to help a friend in need. Her friend's husband died in a car crash, so she was going to lend support. When he made it down stairs he seen Mouse standing over the stove. She was wearing a large AC/DC T-shirt and a pair of tight blue jeans. She was just standing there moving the bacon around in the pan. Marcus just stood stalk still and looked at her through his mirror plated shades. 'She's an angel in disguise, I swear it!' he thought with amusement. He often said corny things like that to himself. Mouse just happened to look up from the cooking pan or she would have never noticed Marcus standing there. Marcus could move as silently as a ghost. He was most defiantly the most quiet and intelligent person she knew. "Good morning ugly! Do I have something green growing out of me? I must have by the way you stare!" She said with a coy smile. "Mouse, darling, you are good at many a things. But cooking is not one of them." Marcus said in a low and charming voice. Mouse had learned long ago, Marcus said everything in a low voice and pity yourself if you didn't hear him. Because he won't repeat. "Hey! Don't knock what you ain't tried!" Mouse said with predatory smile that showed off her beautiful teethe. "Are you saying that you're cooking breakfast for Me?" Marcus said with that same low charm. He liked going on with Mouse because she was the only person he could really do that with. "Well... Yea, I suppose. I'm gonna play MOM. Now be a good boy!" She said, shaking the fork she was holding at him. "I was hoping you were playing the part of the wife." Marcus said as he slipped into a chair at the table with casual grace. He even chuckled at his statement. "Your impossible!" Mouse said as she blushed slightly. She had coined the phrase about Marcus, 'That he is good at Psychological Terrorism'. Because he could twist your mind until it screamed. "I apologize. You just look to cute in the morning." he said with a chuckle. Mouse was used to his compliments. She also knew that (to her dismay) he would never act on them. "Do you want your bacon on bread or just a plate? Or maybe I should just hand feed you!" She said with a chuckle. She always tried to make him blush but has never been able to catch him off guard. This was no exception. "Do what you will, fair child." He said quoting a poem that he once read. She put the bacon on a plate and slid it across the table to him. "Here's your food smart ass!" She said with a care free laugh. Marcus just looked at the bacon passively and then back at Mouse. "Where's your food?" He asked with a arch of an eyebrow. "I'll cook me something in a minute." She said as she took a seat across from Marcus. "You can have this plate. I'm not all that hungry." He said sliding the plate over to her. "Your not going to eat my cooking? Asshole." She said picking up a piece of the bacon. "How long have I lived with you?" Marcus said with a touch of coyness in his voice. "Six and a half years, but it seems a hell of a lot LONGER!" She said with a chuckle and took a bite of bacon. "Have you ever seen me eat in the morning?" He said with a slight smile and in that moment Mouse thought he looked like a young Brad Pitt. "OK, your off the hook this time. But if Mom ain't back by tonight, you still have to endure the torment of my dinner plans!" She said trying to use big words. She liked to think she could match him in intelligence. But she knew that there was no way in hell of that happening in this century. Marcus only nodded and went into deep thought as he usually did. He thought of the local school bully. The bully went by the name of Danny Miller. He had promised Marcus that he was going to kick his ass today. It all started because he shoved Marcus into the lockers and Marcus being Marcus did not say anything or throw a swing at him. What Danny did not know was that a teacher saw the whole thing and took Danny to the office. The principal kicked him out for three days. Danny blames Marcus for some unknown and very unrealistic reason. Or at least Marcus thought that it was very unrealistic. Mouse did not know about any of this. ".....Marcus. Earth to Marcus!" Mouse repeated a little louder. Marcus looked up at her and gave the impression that she had his attention. "I asked if you cared if Jenny came over and stayed the night?" She said with a mild look of annoyance "I don't care, if you don't." He said with a sigh. "Good, cause I talked to her on the phone last night and she said that her parents have been fighting for days. She wants a break from it." Mouse said with a touch of sadness. Marcus had slipped back into deep thought. He was trying to figure out what to do about Danny. The bully thinks Marcus won't hit back. The reason being, that Marcus did not strike back when shoved. What Danny did not know was that Marcus could hit a hell of a lot harder than he could and that Marcus was a hell of a lot more dangerous. Marcus knew this though. Lately it felt like he was holding back a freight train of power. Marcus had seen and felt more pain than this pathetic bully could ever dream of dealing out. Marcus just did not know how to deal with the bully. If he dealt to harshly with him, HE would be expelled. Marcus, above all, did not want to disappoint his beloved adopted mother Kathy and getting kicked out would surely disappoint her. "What are ya thinkin' about Marcus? How you're going to flirt with Jenny when she gets here?" Mouse said with a wide smile. "Hardly. You know I only have eyes for you." Marcus said with a mock puppy dog face. "Seriously, What's on your mind? You've been sitting there staring off into space for five minutes." Mouse said with a touch of worry to her voice. 'What the hell. I might as well tell her' Marcus thought. "I might have to put someone in the hospital today." Marcus said with a low voice that was almost a whisper. At first Mouse started to smile, thinking he was just playing with her head. But then she remembered that Marcus NEVER joked about violence. He had been through to much to have the heart to do that. She noticed with dismay that Marcus had that dark and brooding look he gets when he is trying to figure out a tough problem. "Why? Who is it? Marcus your not the violent type! You'll get hurt!" Mouse said this with passion in her voice. She was positive that he had never been in a fight. She could not see him raise his hand against anyone. It was not his style. She herself had been in several fights though. Marcus gave a very capricious smile that sent a chill down Mouse's spine. "I'm a better fighter than you! If your gonna get into a scrape, then I'm gonna help!" She said with a look Marcus could only describe as vanity. Marcus looked directly into Mouse's eyes and said "So, you'll fight Danny Miller?" He said this with a dead calm voice that was firm and as loud as his voice ever got. Which was the normal loudness of a normal person speaking. Mouse could see the color drain from her face in Marcus' mirror plated shades. "Danny Miller is the toughest kid in the whole fucking school!" Mouse said rather loudly. Marcus just bowed his head and smiled to himself. Mouse was making to much out of a school yard scrape. "Promise me that you will stay away from him today." Mouse said with an expectant look. She knew that if she could get him to promise, that he would keep it. Marcus never broke promises. "You know, when I was 10, I got stabbed four times by my foster mother because I did not do the dishes. When I was 8, my foster father broke my leg with a baseball bat because I failed to clean my room. I have other little facts like that, that you don't want to hear. The point is that I'm not scared of a hyped up school bully." Marcus said this with a small and sad grin. It was the first time that he told Mouse a little of his past. Mouse had tried on numerous occasions to get him to tell her what happened to him in foster care but he would either get a sad look on his face and tell her she didn't want to know; or he would get a sad face and fall into silence for days. The silence was what made her quit asking questions. Mouse did not know what to say to this. She knew Marcus well enough to know that if she showed him pity, he would never reveal his past experiences with her again. She wanted to know more about him, so she just sat their quietly and said nothing. As did Marcus. She hated silent and awkward moments like this. Then with out notice, Marcus said "Well, if we don't get going we will be late. Kathy would ground us for a month and never leave us alone again if that happened." Marcus said with a small and impish grin as he stood up. "Yea, like you ever get grounded! You have Mom wrapped around your fucking pinkie." She said with a small chuckle and headed for the door. Marcus just gave her a warm and charming smile as he followed her out the door. Marcus always followed slightly behind her when in public. Neither he or Mouse knew why. That's just the way it was. He still had the problem of Danny Miller rolling around his head, but he tried to ignore it. The crisp morning air felt good to him. It was little a chilly, but not enough for a coat. The school was not that far away from their house, so they always walked it. Marcus rather enjoyed walking. He could always think better on his feet and now was a definite time to be thinking. Mouse had bugged Kathy about getting her a car ever since she turned sixteen, but Kathy told her that she would have to buy her own car. It was not because she could not afford it, it was because she would feel bad if one of them got in a wreck. Especially if the got in a wreck in the car she bought. Neither of them spoke when they walked to school. Marcus was silent because he was in deep thought and Mouse was silent because she did not like to disturb Marcus's thinking. She knew he was trying to think of a answer to the problem of Danny Miller. She really hoped he would figure out a way to get out of the fight. Just then they seen a tall boy that was rather chubby and had red hair, walking towards them. They were a couple of blocks away from the school. She immediately recognized the boy as Danny Miller. She guessed that Danny was not as stupid as she thought. He was not going to get caught in a fight on school property. Marcus never slowed his pace for one second. His face was set in a stern way. Marcus did not slow his pace, but Mouse did. She fell slightly behind him, but she was still close. She did not know what to make of the situation. She knew for a fact that she would be no match for Danny Miller. Like it or not, she was a girl. Marcus himself was preparing his mind for battle. It was sort of the way he did it before he got beat by foster care parents. Marcus knew that Danny was bigger but Danny was also slow and fat. Marcus on the other hand was lean with cut muscle. Marcus really wanted to avoid a violent conflict at all costs though. He hated hurting people. That was just the way Marcus was built. Danny was the type of person that thrived on beating up people that were smaller and weaker than him. He had put a couple in the hospital, so Marcus knew that he had to defend himself if provoked. Despite himself, Marcus was nervous as hell. The nervousness came from the fear of the consequences of his actions though. They were less than fifty yards from one another now. Then something strange happened as Marcus approached the bully. A peculiar tingling sensation came to the base of his skull, right were the neck met the head. With each step he took, the sensation grew in intensity and width. It began to spread to his temples. This sensation was not painful, in fact it was rather pleasant. Marcus tried to ignore the sensation and concentrate on the problem at hand. He was now only 20 yards away from Danny and for some reason his focus seemed to sharpen. His concentration on Danny became almost clinical. Marcus could feel that something was going to happen. "Marcus, don't do this!" Mouse said from behind him, but Marcus hardly noticed her. His stride was still strong and his concentration was stronger. The tingling sensation had almost doubled as he came toward Danny. Then when the two boys were only five feet away from one another, Danny stopped. The simple minded boy obviously wanted to say something. "Hey fuck nuts! Were do ya think your goin'?" Danny said with a rather large grin. "Danny, don't you touch him!" Mouse yelled at him and was trembling with anger. "Shut the fuck up you dyke bitch! This is between me and fuck nuts here. Isn't it? I got a score to settle with you!" Danny said and began to close the gap between them. Before he got closer than a step, Marcus said "This is a bad idea. You should really back off." Marcus said this in a very low and deadly voice. After he said it he felt that strange tingling sensation leave from him like a power. For some strange reason he could almost feel it jump off him and strike Danny. It did not strike him like a fist would though. It seemed to strike his resolve. Danny stopped dead in his tracks only about two feet from Marcus with a strange look on his face. Danny shook his head, as if trying to clear fuzziness that Marcus knew nothing about. His eyes were out of focus for a few seconds, but then they began to clear. Then he gave almost a comic look of fear to Marcus. He backed up a few steps then. Danny was looking at Marcus almost like Marcus was death itself "L-L-Look, I-I'm sorry. It was my fault..." Danny stuttered and then turned and walked rather rapidly in the opposite direction. This puzzled the hell out of Marcus because he knew that Danny NEVER backed down in a fight. Especially with someone smaller. 'What the hell was that tingling sensation? Why didn't Danny attack?' Marcus thought with great confusion. "What the hell?!?" Mouse said in a statement rather than a question. She was just as confused as Marcus, but showed it more. "Never mind. We got to get moving or we will be late." Marcus said in a voice that had a little nervousness to it. He knew that talking about it would only confuse him more. Marcus knew that he had THINK on this allot. Marcus then started back walking the way they started out. Danny had already made it off the block. Marcus walked with his hands in his pockets and his head bowed down. Mouse knew that Marcus walked like this when he was in VERY deep thought. So with that in mind, she said nothing. When they got to school, everything seemed to be as usual. Mouse's friend Jenny ran up to them and told them that Danny was gunning for Marcus. She had obviously had not heard what happened. Mouse was about to tell her the story when Marcus lowered his shades to look her directly in the eyes. This was his signal for her to drop it. Marcus got REALLY serious about few things. But when he was, he looked you in the eyes. Marcus took a quick note of the girl that stood before him. She had shoulder length brown hair and puppy dog eyes. Jenny was a pretty nice person in general, but she gave Marcus flutters in his stomach. He thought of her as very attractive girl and wondered if Mouse would have invited her home if she had this information. "So your Mom don't care that I stay over? The only reason my parents are letting me is because they don't know that you have a brother." She said with a little chuckle and winked at Marcus. "No, my Mom won't care. You know how big our house is. She'd be glad to have the company. Problem is, she might not be there tonight." Mouse said with a look of contemplation on her angelic face. "So what your saying is, there will be NO parental supervision?" Jenny said this with a look of excitement, along with mischievous looking smile. "I guess so! Can you sneak a bottle of whisky out of your parent's house?" Mouse said, starting to catch on. Jenny wanted them to get drunk tonight. Mouse then looked over at Marcus. His head was still bowed and his hands still in his pockets. Marcus was, basically, still in deep thought. 'I felt that power when I focused really hard, maybe I can reproduce it' he thought with a slight smile. Marcus was a smart boy. He knew that what ever he felt a while ago was connected to Danny's sudden fright of him. He also knew that he had to do some tests. The problem was that he didn't want to do them on Mouse. He had to much respect for her to do that. He had to come up with a different test subject. Then he made a promise to do some tests on Jenny tonight. Despite his shyness, he knew he was still a horny teen. He thought this with a rather large smile. "I'm going to head towards class. I'll see you guys later." Marcus said and started to walk off. "Marcus, before you go, what do you think of getting drunk tonight?" Mouse asked with obvious excitement on her face. "What ever makes you happy." Marcus said with a coy grin and started to walk off from the two girls. His first class was Science and he rather hated Science. Well, he did not hate Science, he just hated Science class. The teacher Mr. Robinson always called on him when no one else knew the answer. Marcus always knew the answer of course, but he hated talking in front of that many people. Marcus was the first one in the class, as usual. He liked to see people coming. He didn't like walking up to them. Plus, it insured his spot in the back of the class. He liked to have his back to the wall and his eyes on the door. It was just the survival instinct he developed in Hell's Outhouse. After awhile the class started to fill up and the bell rang, signaling that who ever was not there, was late. Marcus took the seat in the back corner that was close to the wall. It was the seat he always took. The kids beside him were classified as the "cool" kids. Marcus just sat there as the Mr. Robinson explained Atoms. Marcus decided to do a little experiment right then and there. There was a kid beside him by the name of Jimmy Goodman. There was nothing good about this boy though. He was always making fun of Marcus about something or another. The insults never effected Marcus though. He still thought it would be nice to get some payback. Mr. Robinson was going on about the atoms when Marcus put his full attention and focus on Jimmy. Sure enough, that tingling sensation came back. Marcus attained focus without looking directly at him though. People would think him stranger than he really is if he just sat there staring at Jimmy. Marcus then shot a thought as hard as he could at Jimmy. 'THROW YOUR PENCIL AT THE TEACHER NOW!' the thought carried the power of thunder but was silent. It sort of surprised Marcus when Jimmy actually did it. Jimmy did it when the teacher was looking directly at him too. The pencil hit the teacher right in the face. It did not harm Mr. Robinson, but it pissed him off plenty. Jimmy just sat there with a look of total awe on his face from what he did. "Jimmy Goodman! You get your ass to the principal's office!" the teacher said, accidentally cursing. Well, he actually screamed it with a face as red as a cherry. "B-B-But..." He started to say something. "NOW! I will be there shortly!" Jimmy got up and left the class room and Mr. Robinson put one of his "trusting" students in charge while he left behind Jimmy. Marcus leaned back in his chair with a coy smile and his thoughts were racing. That test told him a couple of things. It told him that what ever this strange and wonderful power was, it was real. It also told him that he could do it silently and without looking directly at them. Marcus's head was spinning with ideas and questions. He was positive that he could initiate action, but he wondered about emotion. He had other questions as well and they filled his head for the rest of the school day. He did small tests, making people scratch their shoulder and silly things like that, just to make sure that he was not imagining this power. But he decided to wait until tonight to see if he could control emotions. He would test that on Jenny. Because he was deep in thought, the school day passed by like nothing. Before he knew it the school day was over and he was standing outside waiting for Mouse. Mouse always had her friends she talked to. Marcus did envy her that. His thoughts kept asking him if he could really control emotion though. Mouse came out and gave him a rather gracious smile. Marcus knew that she was looking forward to getting drunk with her friend tonight. She wanted to act "adult", like most sixteen year old girls did. Marcus was not sure that he wanted to drink though. He wondered if he could still use his "power" drunk. Even if he could, he did not know how he would act drunk and if he would mess someone up with it. "Jenny said she could probably sneak a bottle of Jack Daniels out in her tote bag." Mouse said this with excitement that Marcus liked to see in her. Marcus just gave her a warm smile. "And what if Kathy comes home?" He asked this as he started walking on the road to their house. "If Mom comes home, we'll just wait until she goes to bed!" Mouse said with that same wild exuberance that Marcus had grown to love. "What ever gets you your kicks." Marcus said with a chuckle. He was walking with a constant stride. "Your awful chipper this afternoon. Anything I should know about?" Mouse asked while keeping stride with him. "No, nothing in particular." Marcus said, his smile faded. "Why did Danny run with his tail between his legs this mornin'?" Mouse asked with a quizzical look on her face. 'Shit! How do I handle this?' Marcus thought. "I guess I'm just lucky today." Marcus said with that same low voice and kept his eyes on the road. He was not really lying. He did luck out with the power. Mouse knew that Marcus was keeping something from her. Marcus could see that in her eyes and if she could see his eyes, she would be positive. They made it to the house rather quickly. Both of them were walking rather quickly, but neither noticed. They were both thinking of their plans for the night. Chapter 2 It turned out to be a rather warm day and the air conditioned home felt good when they walked in. Mouse went right over to the answering machine because the little red light was flashing. She pushed the play button and their Mother's voice rang in the speaker. "Hey guys, sorry but I won't be home until tomorrow morning. Set out some hot dogs for supper and be GOOD." Their mother's voice told them. "You don't think Kathy's trust is misguided do you?" Marcus asked with a smile the size of Texas. "Of course... Not." Mouse said with a excited laugh and sat down on the sofa. "When is Jenny supposed to be here?" Marcus asked with a coy boyish look of innocence. "She will be here at about five. She is going to walk. Since when did you start to care about my company? Could it be that little Marcus has a crush?" She said with a girlish giggle. Marcus lowered his shades and said "I don't get "crushes"..... and there is nothing LITTLE about me." Marcus said this with a devilish smile. His statement made Mouse blush deeply. Marcus could always catch her off guard and she knew it. "Your EVIL! I knew it all along." She said with wild laughter that made her look a lot younger than she was. "Well, this evil person is going to go take a shower." Marcus said pushing up his shades. "Going to spruce up for Jenny huh?" Mouse said with a childish grin that Marcus did not really care for. "Think what you will. What ever makes you tick." He said with an analytical look and headed up stairs. He did not know if he liked it or not that Mouse could read him so well. He grabbed him some clothes out of his room and headed for the shower. When he got undressed, he took off his shades and looked in the full length mirror. When he told Mouse that there was nothing LITTLE about him, he did not really know if that was true. He really did not know what the size of a normal cock was. His was six inches long when it was soft. Since he had nothing to compare himself to, he did not know if that was big or small. This was one of the two times that he took off his mirror plated shades. The other was when he slept. He left the smoked crystal necklace on all the time though. He stepped into the shower and let the warm water hit him. He could not remember a time when he was happier. This had to be the best day of his life. Mouse was down stairs thinking the same thing about him. She could not remember him smiling so much in one day. She did not know that it was the new power he possessed though. She thought that it was because Jenny was going to stay the night. She went to the fridge and set out some hot dogs for supper. Marcus felt stirring sensation in his cock when he thought about what could happen if he could control a person's emotion. Marcus never felt the joys of a girl and he could hardly wait. He did not touch himself though. He wanted to save it for Jenny.... That is if it worked. After he was done he stepped out and started to get dressed. He decided not to button up his shirt. He knew that he had better muscle tone than anyone in his school. He knew this, but Mouse didn't. In the past, he never showed off with her. He was always fully clothed when she was around. Marcus wanted to show her his six pack and chest muscles, just to see what her reaction would be. With that thought in mind he slipped on his mirror plated shades and walked out the door. He started down stairs and that's when it hit him. 'How can I do anything to Jenny, with Mouse around?' he thought. Then he just told himself that he would cross that bridge when he came to it. He made it down stairs and seen that Mouse was sitting at the counter smoking a cigarette. When she looked his way the cigarette fell from her supple lips and to the floor. She was obviously impressed. She bent over and picked up the cigarette but she kept steeling glances at his chest. "What? Do I have something green growing out of me?" Marcus asked this with a coy and innocent look as he went to the fridge to get a soda. "Fuck, Marcus! What do you do? Work out all night while I sleep?!" The question was rhetorical. Mouse bit at her bottom lip. Marcus knew she did this when she looked at something that interested the hell out of her. The look on Marcus's face was one of pure satisfaction. "You know, you should eat something if your going to drink whiskey tonight. You need a base or you will get sick." Marcus said, the coy smile never leaving his lips. He wanted to change the subject though. Mouse's expression was priceless though. Marcus looked up at the clock and seen that Jenny would be here in about thirty minutes. He still did not know how to handle Mouse. "How do you know so much about drinking?" She asked mockingly. "I grew up with alcoholics and drug dealers." Marcus said in a low voice. Mouse knew the tone all to well. It said 'I don't want to talk about it ' so Mouse dropped it. "We're having some hot dogs. I think we should eat them now. I want to get started with the fun stuff as soon as soon as Jenny gets here." Mouse said and got to work on making them dinner. Marcus shrugged his agreement. Mouse was jumbling about in the kitchen and dropped a plate. The plate didn't break, but when Mouse bent over, Marcus got a good look at her ass. Good enough look to make his groin stir. "Nice ass!" Marcus said those two words without thinking and almost slammed his hand over his mouth. "What did you say?" Mouse asked, her face was deeply blushing. "Sorry, it just popped out." Marcus said and HE was blushing. Mouse had never seen him blush. She reveled in the fact that her beauty made him do it. "So you don't think I have a nice ass?" She asked. She was going to needle the situation now. It was the first time she caught him off guard. If Marcus was caught off guard, he recovered in record time. "I think you have a wonderful ass. Your a very beautiful young lady." Marcus said these words in a low and oh, so charming voice. Then asked "Are the hot dogs ready?" with a smile. 'That's just like him! Change the subject when things get interesting' she thought. "Yea, I just got to throw them on the buns. You've acted more chipper today than I have ever seen you act. Why is that?" She asked, curious. "I don't know. Can you not put any mustard on mine. Thanks." Marcus said, evading the question They sat down at the table started to eat. Every now and then Mouse would look up and glance at Marcus's muscular chest. Marcus ate while he thought about the words he let slip out. He was starting to find Mouse more and more attractive by the second. He would every now and then look up from his plate to look at her enchanting eyes. Almost the second they were finished, the door bell rang. Marcus stood up rather quickly. If she did not know Marcus, she would say that he was excited. But Marcus always stood up like that when ever someone rang the bell or knocked. It was just an old habit that was dying hard. "I'll get it. I hope she brought some whiskey!" She said cheerfully. She then ran out of the kitchen. Marcus seen she had left her pack of cigarettes on the counter. He picked up the pack and shook one out. He lit it with the lighter that was there. His shirt was still unbuttoned and he was letting the cigarette hang loose between his lips when Jenny walked in. She saw him leaning against the counter with most of his upper body muscles showing and her jaw dropped. She thought he looked like Brad Pitt in the movie Sleepers. She could feel her nipples harden. "Hi Marcus, I thought you might retreat to your room like you usually do when I come over." She said trying to gain composer. "Marcus took the cigarette out of his mouth and looked her over. She had a light blue blouse on and a pair of skin tight blue jeans. Marcus knew that if she really thought that, she would have not have done her hair up so well and put make-up on. "What and let you two have all the fun?" He said in a low voice. He was a little shy around Jenny because he really did not know her that well and the light blue blouse she was wearing showed the shape of her breasts rather well. "Did you get the whiskey? Tell me you did." Mouse said with childish excitement. "I got good news and I got bad news. What do you want first?" Jenny asked this with a coy grin that Marcus thought was cute as hell. Mouse had a frown and said "The bad news." "The bad news is I didn't get the whiskey." Jenny said this with a frown. But somehow Marcus knew that it was a mock frown. "The good news?" Mouse asked a little disappointed. "The good news is I got 100 proof Vodka!" Jenny said with a very wide smile and sat her tote bag on the table. Of coarse Mouse beamed at this. Her smile brightened even more when she seen how big the bottle was. It was a full liter. 'I think I'll have both girls' Marcus thought. Then he thought of a plan. He would let them get mildly drunk then use his power and if it worked they could blame it on the Vodka instead of him. "I over heard my dad say that you mix it with something..." Jenny said trying to remember what her father said. "You put it in orange juice. They call that a Screw Driver. Lucky thing we have orange juice." He said with a coy grin. He had other things on his mind besides drinking. Marcus took the bottle from her and said "I'll make the drinks. You two beautiful ladies take a seat." He said with charm that almost dripped from his tongue. Marcus had no clue as to why he said that. This was far from the way he usually acted and Mouse knew it. Jenny blushed at the compliment, but took her seat with Mouse at the table. It felt like to Marcus that he was working off instinct alone. He pushed the "why's" out of his head though and began to make the drinks. "So what do you ladies want to do while we drink our little drinks?" Marcus asked with that same coy smile. "I brought a deck of cards. You wanna play poker?" Jenny asked as she took the deck of cards out of her tote bag. "Sure what kind? Five card stud? Five card draw? Seven card stud? Seven card no peek? You choose." Marcus said with a little chuckle. "I think I'll stick with what I know. Five card draw." Jenny said looking a little confused. "Were did you learn to play cards?" she added "From around the way." Marcus said and sat the mixed drinks in front of them. He said that when he didn't want to tell "where". Mouse took a sip of the drink and said "MMM, this tastes good. I thought it would taste awful." She said with a smile. Jenny took a drink of her's as well and agreed. Marcus just took a small sip of his. He did not wanted to get wasted. He wanted to be sober just in case the power to manipulate emotions worked. If his plan worked, this was going to be the luckiest day of his entire life. "Can I deal?" He asked looking Jenny right in the eyes. "Sure, go ahead." She said and handed Marcus the cards. Marcus took out the deck and shuffled them with what looked to be the hands of a card shark. He dealt each of them five cards a piece. "Two's and Joker's are wild." he said with a rather devilish smile. They threw away cards and Marcus gave how many they threw away. Mouse killed half of the screw driver he made her. "I call!" She said and Jenny laid down her hand. She had two pair. Mouse laughed and laid down a full house. She looked at Marcus with a confident look. The look quickly faded when he laid down four aces and a wild card. Marcus stacked the deck right in front of them. "You fucker! I said it before and I'll say it again, YOUR EVIL!" Mouse said and laughed rather loudly. "You used to play this allot huh?" Jenny asked with a quite smile as her eyes would drift to his chest quickly and then back to his face. "I've played it a few times." He said in that same low voice. "There's not that much Marcus CAN'T do." Mouse said while giving Marcus a gracious smile. Marcus just smiled at the compliment and reshuffled the cards. They played long enough for Mouse and Jenny to get two more good size glasses of screw drivers down them. Marcus just kept sipping at his. He was not even buzzing. They played about four more hands before Marcus sat his plan into motion. "Let's go play in the living room so we can listen to some music." He said and stood up without waiting for their reply. "Sound's good to me. As long as we can listen to AC/DC, that is." Mouse said with a giggle. She was feeling a little tipsy. Mouse was also a die hard AC/DC fan. They all made it to the living room alright. None of them were STAGGERING drunk. The girls were just feeling REALLY good. Marcus walked over to the entertainment center and put in the CD Mouse had requested. Pretty soon the song "You Shook Me All Night Long" was blaring out of the speakers. Mouse wanted to sit by the speakers, so the three of them sat in the floor. Marcus dealt out another hand as usual. This time he purposely lost. He did not like winning all the time. Marcus played a few more hands before he put the next step of his plan into motion. He really hoped it would work. Mouse and Jenny were feeling no pain to say the least. But they were not overly drunk either. They had a nice buzz going. Marcus could not help but to steal a few glances at Jenny's shapely breasts. Mouse caught him once and gave a sly smile. "This game is getting a little boring, don't you think ladies?" Marcus said with an innocent look. "Well, what do you think we should play O wise one?" Mouse said this with a little more than a little mock in her voice. But she giggled afterwards. "Well, we could play..... Na, you girls are not old enough to play that yet." He said this with a devilish smile. "Oh, come on, spit it out! We ain't old enough to play what?" Jenny said with a bit of offense to her voice. She was playing right into Marcus's hand and didn't even know it. "You might be OLD enough, but I doubt your mature enough." Marcus said waiting for Mouse's retaliation. He knew Mouse would take that statement as a challenge. "Fuck you Marcus. We're mature enough for anything you can throw at us!" Mouse said, sounding a little offended. Marcus arched an eye brow and said "Even strip poker?" He asked this with a coy grin. Mouse looked at him with wide eyes. It sort of shocked her a little that he would suggest such a thing. But she knew that she could not back down. If she did that, she would look like a chicken. She could not let that happen. Mouse knew that Marcus had purposely challenged her, but the idea excited her more than a little. Jenny did not know if she really wanted to do it or not. The idea of seeing Marcus naked made her nipples hard though. She finally decided to herself that she would follow what ever path that Mouse took. After all, shouldn't best friends follow one another? Deep down she hoped Mouse would play. The shock on Mouse's face was rapidly diminishing and was replaced by a look of curious excitement. She looked at Marcus and said "I'm mature enough to play that. Are you sure you are Marcus?" She said this with the same coy smile that Marcus possessed. Marcus just nodded and looked at Jenny for an answer. "Yea, I can handle it. But you guys better not tell anyone at school." She said with a nervous look. She wasn't as good as Mouse was at masking her emotions. "Then it's settled. Here are the rules ladies. The loser's of each hand dealt must take one piece of clothing off. But you have to take your shoes and socks off right now. They don't count." Marcus said, all the while supporting a very large smile. Not wanting to prove Marcus's statement about them not being MATURE enough, both girls immediately complied with his request. Even though Mouse was buzzing from the screw drivers she drank, she was still taking notes on Marcus's actions. This was totally unlike him and she knew that for a fact. She sort of LIKED the way he was acting though. It was defiantly exciting. After they were done taking off their shoes Mouse said "OK, you little shit, lets get the show on the road." She said this with excitement in her voice. "OK, lets do it. But this time we are not playing draw. We're playing five card stud." He said and dealt the cards with that same fluid grace. They all got their cards and looked at them. Marcus looked at Mouse and she laid down a pair of queens. She had a nervous look, Marcus noticed. He looked at Jenny and could not help but notice her nipples poking though the thin blue blouse she was wearing. She did not look that nervous though. She looked confident. With a proud grace she laid down three jacks. "Damn." Marcus said with a look of disappointment on his face. This look made Jenny even more confident. But then the look on Marcus's face turned into a rather large smile and he laid down three kings and a joker. He started to giggle about that a little. Jenny looked a bit irritated that she was tricked. "You should not tease someone like that. Fucker!" Jenny said with mock anger. "You two ladies have the choice of taking off your pants or shirts." He said with that devilish smile that Mouse was not quite used to yet. Both girls were blushing deeply. Then Mouse just gave him a defiant look and pulled her T-shirt up rather quickly. She was wearing a black laced bra that looked like it was from Victoria's Secret catalog. This surprised Marcus, he did not think that she was that interested in clothes since she was a die hard tom-boy. Jenny started to unbutton her blouse. She did this slowly because she was a bit shy. But with each button that was undone, Marcus's cock got a little harder. With the last button undone she opened the blouse and stripped it off. It was at that moment that Marcus realized WHY he could see her nipples so well. She was not wearing a bra! Looking at the naked breasts made Marcus as hard as a rock. He must have stared a bit longer than normal because Jenny giggled and said "I take by the look on your face that you like them?" Marcus blushed and started to shuffle the cards. Mouse caught his blush and smiled to herself. 'Yea, I like this Marcus better' she thought. He was acting stranger than usual but she really did like it. Marcus dealt another hand and as usual, he stacked the deck. He was good at it and the girls never caught him. Marcus could tell that Jenny was excited because her nipples were as hard as a rock and she was a little flushed. Marcus passed the flushed part off to embarrassment though. He dealt the cards once again and once again he won. He could hardly contain his own excitement. Marcus wanted to try his power right then, but he decided to wait until they were naked or close to it anyway. Mouse stood up after she lost and she had a very coy look to her. She undid her tight jeans and slipped them down slowly. All the time looking at Marcus. He was so excited that he was almost trembling. She wished she could see his eyes, so she could tell just how nervous he was. Marcus looked at Jenny with a flushed and excited look to his face. She stood up rather slowly and unbuttoned her jeans with trembling fingers. She slid them down over her beautiful legs slowly. Her legs looked fantastic. Marcus assumed that was because she was a cheer leader. Watching her slide her jeans down made Marcus hornier than hell. 'One more hand' he told himself and shuffled the cards. Marcus shuffled the cards with trembling hands and Mouse noticed this. She looked down at his crotch and it made her a little wet just looking at the bulge that was pressing against his jeans. He dealt out the hand after he stacked the deck perfectly. He was almost to excited to deal, but he managed. Everyone got their cards and looked at them. Mouse had a pair of nines and Jenny had a pair of kings. But Marcus beat them all with a full house. It was Jenny who stood up first. Which surprised Marcus. She slid down her panties in a slow fashion and Marcus could smell the musky scent of her excited cunt. That was all he could take. Right before he tried his experiment he notice Mouse unhook her bra and let the most beautiful breast he had ever scene fell forward. The nipples were very erect. They almost seemed to cry out for Marcus's lips. Marcus suddenly hoped to what ever gods that were out there that this would work. Marcus focused as much as possible and sent a thought that carried the force of a freight train towards them. 'YOU FEEL LUST!' the thought screamed. At first Marcus did not know if it worked or not. But then both girls seemed to flush very deeply. "OOOHHHH" Jenny moaned out involuntarily and rubbed her legs together. She most defiantly had the look of lust in her eyes. The scent of her womanhood came in a stronger dose now. Marcus looked at Mouse and seen that she had broken out in light perspiration. Her bottom lip was trembling in the slightest way. Mouse was still in her panty's and Marcus seen that there was a damp spot on them. She was giving Marcus a look the said "I want to fuck your brains out!" Marcus was astonished that it actually worked. Mouse stood up and walked over to Marcus and said "I don't think it's fair that we're naked and your not! I think you should be naked, so STRIP!" She said it with a very husky and sexy voice. Marcus was beyond words now. So he stood up and shed his clothes in lighting speed. After his jeans and underwear came down, both girls stared at his hardened cock with lusty eyes. Mouse let out a small whimper when she first seen it and her hand went between her legs by it's own accord. "It's so big..... And beautiful!" Jenny said in between her gasps for air. She to was rubbing at her pussy at a rather rapid rate. Mouse was breathing erratically when she slid her panty's down. After they were off she took her eyes from Marcus cock and looked him in the face. Her face was one of complete mask of lust. It seemed that she was so filled with lust that she was trembling all over. Marcus could wait no longer, He gathered his beautiful adopted his in his arms and pressed his lips against hers. Her lips parted slightly to allow his tongue to slip in. She molded her lusty body against his and could feel his manhood press against her. They only kissed a few moments before Mouse broke from him. "Lay down." She said in a low and husky voice. Marcus complied and noticed that he himself was trembling. He noticed as he laid down that Jenny was laying flat on her back and had two finger shooting in and out of her wet pussy. That sight excited him even further. He laid down flat on his back and watched as Mouse straddled his hips. Her hot and wet pussy only inches above his hard dick. She grabbed a hold of his hard member and rubbed it against her slit a few times. The sensation was making him and her whimper. Then she slowly started to inch her way down on it. Marcus could feel the tightness and the warm wetness as she slid down. Then he felt her maiden head. But she was to far gone to feel the pain of it breaking. "AAAHHH GOD" Mouse moaned out as all of Marcus's cock was buried in her. She then started bucking and grinding her hips in a blinding speed and Marcus could feel her pussy muscles contract around him. He looked off to the side to see that Jenny was grinding her hips against her own finger and moaning aloud. She had a look of pure bliss on her face as she did this. Marcus knew for a fact that this was the best day of his life. He reached up and tweaked Mouse's hard nipple and this seemed to make her go even faster. "OOOHHHH" She moaned out as he tweaked her nipples. Marcus knew at this rate he would not last long. His hips were rising to meet her thrusts and if she could see past his mirror plated shades, she would see a look of absolute lust in his eyes. Mouse and Jenny's moans and sexual scent were filling the room. Marcus then flipped her over so that he was on top. He then proceeded to fuck her as hard as he could. He pumped in and out with great speed. On very stroke Mouse would moan louder. After about two minutes of this, Mouse grew completely rigid and her nails dug into Marcus's back. "OH GGODDD MARCUS! I'M CUMMMINGG!" She screamed and Marcus could feel the spasms of her pussy muscles and the sent him over the edge. She shot his seed deep within her. He could feel her milk him until her orgasm subsided. When they came down from their high. Marcus looked into Mouse's face and seen she had the look of serenity. She looked as happy as she could be with that small smile of hers. Then he looked over to Jenny and seen that she was still and pumping her fingers out. He wished he could help her but his member grown soft. Then he got an idea. He had never ate out a girl before, hell he had never fucked one until today. 'I think I'll give it a shot' he thought as he crawled over to her. He had a good idea of what to do from all the books he read. Jenny never noticed him as he crawled up between her legs. When his head was between his her creamy thighs he looked up at her and said "May I be of some help?" He asked this with a coy smile. "O god yes!" She told him a little exasperated. He lightly removed her hand and slowly licked up and down her slit a few times. Jenny was squirming around quite a bit. He then lightly licked a small nubbin of flesh and she moaned rather loudly. Marcus figured that it was the clit by her reaction. So he took it between his lips and started to suck on it in earnest. "AAAHHH GOD..... CUMMMINGG....I'M CUMMMINGG!" She scream at the top of her lungs and pulled at Marcus's hair. Her back was arched the whole time. Marcus kept it up until she began to come down from her orgasm. After she was done, Marcus rolled on his back with a smile. He noticed that Mouse had been watching with the strangest look on her face. It was not jealously. In fact, Marcus thought that she rather enjoyed the show. He looked at her angelic face and knew for a fact that he loved her so much it hurt. "That was so intense!" Jenny said with a chuckle. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." Marcus said in that same low and charming voice he usually used. Mouse crawled over to were he laid and laid her head on his shoulder. "I love you so much." She said in almost a whisper. Those words almost melted his heart. He then said the words he had never told anyone in his life. "I love you too. If you only knew how much..." He said this in a whisper as Mouse done. "I haven't known you long enough to love you.... But I like you a lot!" She said and this made all three of them laugh a little. They laid still and in silence for almost twenty minutes pondering what had happened. Then Mouse stood up and collected her clothes. "I think I need a shower!" She said with the care free laugh that Marcus had grown to love. "Would you guys care to join me?" She added with a smile. "I would love to." Marcus said with boyish charm. "I guess I could use on too." Jenny added with a chuckle With that, The three of them headed upstairs to the shower. On the way Marcus thought of the future. About were this power would take him. He wondered if there were others like him and if so would he meet them. These questions bounced around in his head on the way up the stairs. Finally he decided to just wait and see....... Chapter 3 Marcus did not use the power for a few days after that sexual excursion with Mouse and Jenny. For some reason, guilt had hit him and hit him hard. He was not feeling guilty about using the power on Jenny though. Marcus rather enjoyed that. No, he was guilty about using his best friend and adopted sister, Mouse, as a sex toy. Even though she never knew what he had really done, Marcus was still carrying the guilt of his actions on his shoulders. All of that happened on a Monday and it was now Thursday. Marcus had gone into a deep silence. He would only answer yes or no questions and would not carry conversation at all. He thought of himself as a freak of nature for having this so called "power". His mind raced with questions as to why he has it. Mouse, for the past two days, had thought that she had done something wrong. He of course knew this was not true. But he did not feel like or have the energy to give her comfort. I guess it would be safe to say that he was emotionally drained from the shame and guilt he felt. Marcus would have given anything to get some answers about this gift he seemed to posses. He stayed in his room most of the time looking for answers on the internet. But that was to no avail. Kathy had asked Mouse repeatedly what was wrong with Marcus, but Mouse was at a loss for words on that subject. She certainly was not going to tell her mother that she slept with him. So for the next two days, Mouse and Kathy had to endure the silence of Marcus with desperate patience. It came to pass on Friday that Kathy finally had enough of Marcus's silence. She walked up the stairs to his room and knocked on the door. She walked in without him giving permission. If she had waited for that, there's no telling how long she might have stood there. She walked in and seen Marcus reading something on his computer. Marcus did not even turn to look at her as she sat down on the edge of his bed. "Marcus, we've got to talk. You were doing so well last week. You were talking and even smiling. What's happened that's made you go back to this silence? Was it me going away?" She said sitting a little nervously on the bed. Marcus finally turned to look at her. He seen the worried look in her beautiful eyes and wanted to take it away. "I just have a lot on my mind, that's all. How could you think that your going away has anything to do with it?" Marcus asked this with a boyish smile as he turned his computer off. "I don't know. You know me, I'm a worry wart." She said with a smile that made her look like a teenager in Marcus's eyes. Marcus remembered back to when he first arrived at her home. This black haired green eyed lady did everything in her power to make him feel at ease. The social worker told Kathy that he liked rock n' roll and Kathy went as far as to by him thirty CD's to go along with the new CD player she bought him. She literally spent thousands to make him open up. But she soon found out that money and gifts did not do it. Marcus opened up to her when she put a band aid on a finger he cut while sharpening an old knife. He was twelve years old at the time, but this small motherly gesture brought him close to tears. After that, he tried his best to communicate with Kathy. It was not easy for him, but he knew that she appreciated the effort. "You are just staying in your room and not talking; just like you did when you first got here. Why?" She asked this with a small frown. "What do you do if you've done something wrong and you can't take it back?" Marcus asked with a frown that matched Kathy's "That depends on what you've done. What did you do wrong?" Kathy asked with a very quizzical expression. Marcus mentally kicked himself for asking the question. He was at a loss for words, he did not know how to answer. He hated lying. He hardly ever did it. But for the love of this woman he would. He wanted her to feel at ease, the same way she wanted him to feel at ease so many years ago. "Let's say, hypothetically, that I deceived someone that I cared about." Marcus stated, looking at Kathy through his mirror plated shades. "Then I would tell you to come clean with the person and hope for the best. You should know better than anyone that life has it's up's and down's." Kathy said as she crossed her legs and put her hands on a knee. Marcus gave a sigh and said "I had a feeling you were going to say that." "You know, if the person truly cares about you, then they will eventually forgive. But it's always a good idea to tell the truth." Kathy said with suspicious eyes. She had a potent feeling that Marcus was talking of either her or Mouse. "Maybe your right. I think I just might do that. I guess I will reap the consequences of my error sooner or later anyway." Marcus said this as he turned his computer back on. That was a signal to Kathy that the conversation was over. Kathy got off the bed and left quietly. She knew it was no us speaking with him if he did not want to talk anymore. The conversation would be sort of one sided. She did wonder which one of them he deceived and how though. With those thoughts in mind she headed down stairs to start dinner. Marcus sat in the soft cushion chair at his computer and thought of what he should do. His thoughts roamed towards Mouse's reactions if he told her the truth. Would she hate him? Would she never trust him again? These were the questions that were running through his troubled and powerful teenage mind. "To hell with it. What ever happens, happens." He said out loud and stood up and walked out of his room. As he walked through the hall, Marcus felt a nervousness and fear that he rarely felt in his life. He hated this fear and if it were a man he would have attacked it. Mouse's room was right across the hall from his. He walked up to the door timidly. Questioning himself the whole time if this was the right coarse of action. There was music coming from the other side of the door. So he knew that she was in there. Marcus finally gained the courage and raised his shaking hand to knock on the door. He knocked three times. He hoped that she might not answer, but he knew that these hopes were as false as the lust she felt for him a few days ago. Mouse opened the door wearing a pair of tight fitting jeans and a tank top that showed off her creamy white flat belly. Her eyes were a little red, as if she had been crying. Marcus just walked past her and sat on the edge of her bed with a with a look of sadness and guilt covering his face. "Can we talk? I really need to get something off my chest." Marcus asked and if Mouse could see his eyes, she would see just how guilty he was. "Sure, we can talk. Marcus, what ever I did, I'm really sorry." She said and there was tears forming in her eyes. "You have done nothing wrong. It's me that's is at fault. I took advantage of you and I apologize." Marcus said this in a barely audible voice. "Took advantage? Believe me when I tell you that I wanted what happened to happen just as much as you did. Probably more. So if that's what is bothering you, you can rest at ease. Believe me." She said this with the faintest of a smile. "You may think that, but it's not the truth. Don't you wonder why you were so immediately turned on? I did that to you with a single thought and thought alone." Marcus said with his head bowed down in shame. "What? That's impossible Marcus. don't be silly." She said with a small chuckle of disbelief as she sat down beside him on the bed. "I can also control people directly. Make them do things on the spare of the moment. It's true Mouse, I swear it." He said in a low and rash voice. Mouse could not help but to smile at his claims. "OK, if that's true, then make me do something against my will!" Mouse said this with disbelief and excitement both. "Really?" Marcus asked with a look of disbelief. "Yea, really! Make me do something I wouldn't do ordinarily." Mouse said in a challenging voice as she stood up. She was smiling though. This surprised Marcus. 'Well, if she really wants me to prove myself... ' Marcus thought. Then he focused as hard as he could and the tingling sensation came back as he suspected it would. He then shot a thought at her. 'GET ON YOUR HANDS AND KNEE'S AND BARK THREE TIMES!' The thought screamed out. Mouse then got a look of shock on her face as she dropped to her hands and knee's and barked three times, just like Marcus's thought told her to do. After the third bark came out, she looked into Marcus's mirror plated shades with a look of complete disbelief. She stood up and then sat back down on the bed. Not as close as before though. They sat in complete silence fore close to four or five minutes. But it seemed like an eternity to Marcus. "I'm so sorry." Marcus said in a whisper. Mouse's look of shock was quickly being replaced by a look of curiosity and compassion though. The change confused the hell out of Marcus. He suddenly wanted to know what was going on in that pretty little head of hers. The look of her curiosity was a little unsettling for Marcus. But it was better than her look of shock. He wished with all his heart that she would just say something. Anything. "That is so fucking COOL!" She blurted out with a smile as large as Texas. "Your not mad?!" Marcus asked in a low and disbelieving voice. "At first I was. But look at it this way. I don't like you feeling guilty. Just because you made me hotter than a fire cracker in July a few days ago don't mean you have to feel guilty." She said and slid closer to were he sat. Marcus just gave her a confused look, so she added "Look, you did not cause me any pain. In fact you gave me more pleasure than I have felt in my entire life! It was wrong of you to do it without my permission, but it felt GREAT! Just tell me the next time you do it, OK?" She asked and she could see that he was shocked by her statement. "I'm glad your not mad. But please, please don't tell anyone what I can do. And believe me when I say I am REALLY sorry about what happened." He said with a sigh. "Sorry?" Mouse asked with a slight frown. "Yea, I made you do something that you didn't want to do." Marcus said with a frown. "You think that I never wanted to sleep with you?! You are denser than I ever thought possible. I have dreamed of sleeping with you for years!" She said this with passion and urgency. Marcus had a look of shock on his face. Mouse got up and shut the door and locked it. She then turned to him with what could only be a come hither look. "And now I'm about to prove it!" She said as she started to advance on Marcus. He was about to say something but she held out her finger, signaling him to shut up. She walked over to him and pushed him hard enough so that he was laying flat on his back. Mouse then began to strip in speed that would make a cheetah jealous. Before long, Marcus was staring directly at his lovely and naked adopted sister. His cock immediately stood up. Mouse seen the bulge form in his jeans and gave him a sexy smile. She then walked to the bed and undid the fasten on his jeans and pulled them and his underwear down. He would try to help but Mouse would shove his hands out of the way and push him back down. She ripped his button-up shirt open, making the buttons fly in every direction. "So you REALLY thought that I did not want to sleep with you huh?!" She asked this in a husky voice as she straddled his hips. Before he could answer she leaned in and pressed her lips to his. Her tongue literally forced it's way into his mouth. That passionate kiss made Marcus hotter than he had ever been in his life. Mouse then broke the kiss and leaned up and took a hold of his cock. She guided it to her awaiting pussy with ease. She let a small whimper out when the head first entered her. Then she slammed down on it, burring it all the way up in her. "OOOHHHH SO GOOOOD" She moaned as she began to rock slowly up and down on his cock. Marcus could feel the tight wet goodness of her womanhood all to well. He knew that he was about to cum at any moment. He did not want to cum first though. So he gathered his focus and shot the thought of lust to Mouse. "OOOHHHH SHIT!" Mouse yelled a little loudly when the command hit her. Marcus was glad the house was so big and Mouse's music was playing. Or Kathy would have come up to investigate. The command sent Mouse into wild jerking motions. She moaned even louder and her nails dug into Marcus's chest for support. She slammed up and down and Marcus could feel her pussy muscles spasming. When she threw her head back and moaned his name, that was all he could take. Marcus shot his load deep inside her. Mouse finally just collapsed on Marcus. She was very still and was breathing deeply. Marcus could feel her thigh muscles twitch slightly. Mouse was so still that Marcus thought that something was wrong at first. Then it came to him that she went into pleasure overload and passed out. Marcus laid there for close to five minutes in complete stillness. He did not want to disturb his little angel. All thoughts of guilt had diminished with this little love making session and he was glad of it. His mind was filled with euphoria and happiness and it was all because of the angel atop of him. Mouse finally started to stir. She looked into Marcus's mirror plated shades with a look of a satisfied girl. She asked "You used your powers again, didn't you." She asked this with a wide smile and hazy eyes. "Only because you said you enjoyed it. If you only knew how much I love you...." He said as he kissed her forehead. "I know. We better get up before Mom comes and catches us." She said with an impish grin. "Or she catches us coming." Marcus said and gave a chuckle. Mouse laughed and rolled off of him. She got out of bed and stood up, noticing how weak her legs were. "That power of yours is something else!" She said with a girlish giggle. Marcus got up and slid on his jeans and shirt. He could not button it because Mouse tore all of them off. 'Wild Cat' he thought and laughed out loud. He looked over and watched Mouse getting dressed and thought the same thing he thought on the day he discovered his power. 'She's an angel in disguise!' "You don't want to me to tell anyone about your little secret power, do ya?" Mouse asked when she was finished dressing. "No I don't. In fact I want your word on it." Marcus said in a low and serious voice. "My love, you have it." She said with a slight bow. She was acting theatrical on purpose. She thought that Marcus would like it. "Thanks. I better get out of your room. Kathy will think there's something going on if I stay in here to long." He said with an impish grin that Mouse thought was cute. "Are you going back to your room to do something brainy, like read?" Mouse asked with a defiant look. "No, I'm going to get a shirt that has buttons on it and go for a walk." Marcus said looking at his shirt and then back at Mouse. This made her blush. "It's YOUR fault. If was not so damn cute, I would not have done it." She said with a girlish laugh. Marcus looked at her a moment and said "Your a ray of sunshine in a world of darkness. That sounds corny but it's true." Marcus said in a low voice that was both charming and sincere. "When will you be back?" Mouse asked. "A few hours. I just need to take a walk and think on some things. You know that I always think better on my feet. See you later." He said and gave her a tender kiss on the lips and walked out the door. After grabbing a shirt, he almost danced down the stairs he was feeling so good. Kathy was in the living room talking on the phone when he came down the stairs. She noticed that he was smiling. She told the person on the phone that she would call them back and she walked over to were Marcus was. "Well, you look like you feel a hell of a lot better. I take it you patched things up with Mouse?" She asked with a sly smile. "How did you know that I was talking about Mouse when we were in my room?" He asked with a look of boyish innocence on his face "Well, you said that you deceived someone you cared about. I only know of two people you care about. Sort of narrows it down, don't you think?" she said with a large smile. "Well, Mrs. Sherlock Holmes, I'm going for a walk. I'll be back in a few hours." He said with that same look of innocence. "Were are you going?" She asked in a motherly tone. Most kids hate that question, but it made Marcus feel loved. "I thought I would stroll through the Mall and see if they have any good CD's." He said still smiling from ear to ear. His voice was still low though. Kathy reached in her pocket and pulled out a credit card. "Here take this and buy you a few of them. I haven't bought you nothing in months." She told him and put the credit card in his hand. Marcus almost refused to take it. He hated people giving him stuff. But he knew that she would only force it on him if he refused, so he took it and thanked her. He walked out the door and into the warm spring air. 'Yes, this is a good day' he thought as he started his way down the road. The walk to the mall was pretty uneventful. It was a good two mile walk. But Marcus was in such good shape that it was hardly tiring. The questions about his power kept rolling around in his head. It was sort of frustrating to him, not knowing the answers. He finally decided that he would learn over time. The city Mall was bustling with people. This made Marcus a bit nervous since he did not like being around that many people. But he just told himself to relax and that there would not be that many people in the section were they sold CD's. He was basically right on that score. There were a few, but not many. Marcus walked with casual grace into the music store. He immediately walked over to the Rock N' Roll section and looked through his mirror plated shades at the selection they had. He wanted to get Mouse a good CD. He started to look at AC/DC's new album "Stiff Upper Lip" When he felt something strange inside his head. It was not the same feeling he had when he used the power. This feeling was different. It felt like something was probing him. This odd sensation was not painful, but it was not pleasant either. For some reason he reacted in instinct. Marcus closed his thoughts until there was nothing but blackness. The strange probing sensation left then. That's when he discovered that he could follow the direction it came from. He followed the invisible probe just by instinct alone. If you asked how he did it he could never explain. He followed the probe across the CD's he was looking at and found it ended right were a girl stood. This girl was quite beautiful though. She had shoulder length blonde hair and was wearing mirror plated shades, not unlike Marcus's. She was wearing a pair of black skin tight jeans and a black T-shirt that was tucked into them. For some unknown reason Marcus felt drawn to the girl. Almost as if he knew her. He also knew, without question, that she had been trying to read his thoughts. The girl looked to be Marcus's age. She was quite beautiful. She even gave Mouse a run for her money. The girl had a look of curiosity on her face as she stared back at Marcus. Marcus then did something he rarely did. He approached a stranger, just to see who she was. The girl took two steps back as Marcus approached her. "My name is Marcus Williams." He said in a low and cautious voice. "You have the power of a Shadow Knight, But your not with the Zone. Who are you with?" The girl asked in the same low and cautious voice that Marcus uses. 'Shadow Knight? The Zone? What are these things?' Marcus thought. "I am with no one but myself." Marcus said with a quizzical expression. He could see and sense the emotion of fear coming from this girl. "Then let me read your thoughts. If you have nothing to hide, why did you close your mind?" She asked in that same low and cautious voice. "Do what you will, what ever makes you tick." Marcus said, repeating the phrase he told Mouse. The reason he was allowing this was that he thought that this girl could answer some of his questions. He then opened his mind to the beautiful blonde. "Thank you. It works better through touch." She said in that same low voice. She then laid her hand on Marcus's shoulder. He could feel that probing sensation again, but let it stay. Both of them stood stalk still for close to ten minutes. The other people in the store must have thought this strange but Marcus did not care. After that she removed her hand. She looked a little relieved and a little sad. "Why do you look sad?" Marcus asked in that same low voice. He might of felt drawn to her, but he did not trust her yet. "The place you call Hell's Outhouse.... It must have been horrible for you." She said in a low voice that showed Marcus pity. "Can we find a more private place to talk?" Marcus asked, trying to change the subject and he wanted some answers from the blonde haired vixen. She nodded her consent and they both walked out of the music store. They could have passed for brother and sister they looked so much alike. They both walked in silence. Apparently they both had allot on there mind. Marcus spotted a small food place inside the mall and they walked to it and took a seat at the table. "What is your name?" Marcus asked as he slid into his seat. "Jesse Budroux. I could tell by the questions in your mind when I read it that you have no idea of who you are or what your capable of. I will answer what I can." She said with a small smile. "Thank you for your patience." Marcus said in a low voice, trying to act civil. "It's the least I can do for you. Not many of our kind would have let me read there mind. Hell, there is not that many NORMAL people that would allow it. But then again, they don't exactly have a choice." She said with a small chuckle. "Would you mind telling me what a Shadow Knight is?" Marcus asked in a calm but low voice. He felt like he struck gold with this golden haired beauty. "It was what I used to be. Their are about 75 members in this country. I thought you were one at first." She said as she ran her fingers through her hair. "These Knights, they have power like I do?" He asked with a curious look. "They have more power than you do... At least right now. Your just now learning your abilities." Jesse said this with a gracious smile. "And your running from them?" Marcus asked, already knowing the answer. "How did you know?" She asked, looking a little shocked. "If you thought I was one back at the store and you were still frightened, then it stands to reason your running." Marcus said with a low and graceful voice. "Your quick! You should be a detective!" She said a bit sarcastically. "Were is this place you call the Zone." Marcus asked as he leaned back in his seat. "New Mexico. But if I were you I would not go down there." She said this with a sad voice. Marcus motioned for the waitress that was there and ordered them both a soda. Marcus sat in silence for a few minutes contemplating what he had learned so far. "How did you read my mind?" Marcus asked with a touch of nervousness to his voice. "That one is easy. Doing it to normal people is a hell of a lot easier than doing it to your own kind. All you have to do is imagine a invisible extension that goes from you and touch the one that you want to read." She reminded Marcus of a school teacher stating the facts of science. "My own kind?" Marcus asked and took a sip of his soda. "Marcus, surely you noticed that you are different than the rest of the human race. The color of your eyes, their sensitivity to light. Haven't you ever wondered why you are in such good shape, yet you never work out?" She said in a surely fashion. "Can you give me one second? I want to see if I can read that waitress's mind." He said and turned to look at the waitress. "Go head on." Jesse said with a chuckle. Marcus closed his eyes behind his shades and imagined an extension reaching out and touching the waitress's thoughts. At first all he could see was what she was seeing and thinking. She was thinking of her kids and husband. Then he dove deeper into her mind and seen that he could see her past and her fears and pleasures. What she liked most in life. Marcus found this terribly easy. "What else are we capable of?" Marcus asked after he withdrew from the waitress. "The one and only defense we have against our own kind. Telekinesis. The ability to affect objects and other people with our mind. Telekinesis can be deadly if used in the proper way." She said this with a look of dead seriousness. Marcus was thinking of trying it right then. "I wouldn't try it here." Jesse said. She could tell by his facial expression that he wanted to try it. She did not have to read his mind. "Why are you running?" Marcus asked, wondering why this lovely girl would have anybody trying to harm her. "Shadow Zone took over a small New Mexico town. They are turning people into slaves. I broke Shadow Law #7." She said with a look of sadness that made Marcus want to take all of her pain away anyway possible. For some unexplainable reason. Marcus knew that Shadow Law #7 was 'Never kill your own kind' He did not know why he knew this, he just did. "Why did you kill a Knight?" Marcus asked with a low and serious voice. "There was a little boy in the town they took over, his name was Billy. We used to always talk. He was one of the few people in the town that was immune to mind control. He was cute as a button." She said with a small smile. "What happened?" Marcus asked "One of the unit commanders of the Shadow Knights told Billy to fetch him a glass of beer. Billy mouthed off. Basically, he told the commander to go to hell. Before I could do anything, he used telekinesis and made the boy's heart explode. While his guard was down I did the same to him and ran." She said as a tear rolled out from under her mirror plated shades. Marcus's heart went out to the girl. "Were are you staying?" He asked with sadness in his voice. "Nowhere at the moment. I just got into town. But don't worry I'll find a place." She said as she wiped the tear away. "I think you have already found a place to stay. You'll come home with me." He said with a very serious voice. "No, I could not put you out like that-" Then she was cut off by Marcus. "I insist and it is non-negotiable. I promise to help you no matter what." Marcus said, his voice was the highest it ever got. Which was that of a normal person speaking. He laid a few bucks on the table, for the soda's and a tip for the waitress; then he stood up. He motioned for Jesse to do the same. She had nodded her head in agreement of her staying with him when he insisted. He grabbed hold of her hand and started out of the mall. Holding her hand seemed very natural to him. Marcus did not know what Mouse or Kathy's reaction would be to him bringing home this girl. They would have to live with it or he would have to make an ADJUSTMENT to Kathy's thinking. He knew that he would not mess with Mouse's thinking. If she was jealous, she was jealous. This girl needed his help and he aimed to give it. To hell with what the consequences may be...... Author's Note I would like to send my deepest thanks to Net Wolf for editing this chapter. I would also like to thank all of you that E mailed me your thoughts. Chapter 4 Jesse and Marcus made their way past the crowd in the mall, holding hands the whole time. Marcus could tell that Jesse was just as nervous as he was when he walked through the crowd. The touch of her hand seemed so natural to him. Almost like it was meant for them to meet up like they did. Marcus had doubts about bringing her home with him. But for some reason, he knew deep down in his heart that it was the right decision. Marcus was more worried about Mouse's reaction than Kathy's. He knew that she loved him very much and he was not sure if she was the jealous type or not. Marcus was new at this romance game. Jesse had guessed what he was thinking about when they reached the road. "Are you worried about what your woman will think of you bringing me home?" She asked with a small frown. Whether Marcus believed it or not, she hated putting him out. "Yes, I am a little worried. She loves me a lot. I'm not good at this romance scene...." He said truthfully. "You could always use your abilities and make her like the idea-" Jesse started to say, but was cut short by Marcus. "NO! I want to avoid using mind control on her at all costs." He said in a low harsh voice. "It was just a thought. What about your adopted Mother. What if she says no to my staying there?" Jesse asked with a curious and quiet look to her. "If Kathy says no, then I guess that I might have to mess with her thoughts a little. But I hope she says yes. I don't like using the ability on those I love," Marcus said in a calm and low voice. "I can see your point, but you don't care about using it on normal people you don't know, do you?" She asked with a curious smile and kept up with the fast stride he had taken. "No, not really. The people I have met through my life have treated me lower than dirt. The people you are about to meet are the only two women I know that have shown me love and respect. I expect you to show them the same," Marcus said, awaiting her reply. "You have shown me more trust and respect than most of the people I know in the Zone. I promise, I will respect your home," Jesse stated, and Marcus knew by instinct that she, like himself, never broke a promise. As they reached the last block of their journey, Marcus turned to face her. "I only ask one favor for giving you safe haven," He said with an expectant look. "And what might that be?" She asked, looking a little nervous; as if he was about to ask her for sexual favors. "That you teach me the ways of the Shadow Knight. If they ever come calling for you, I want to be able to defend myself and my family." He said this with a very serious look, as he peered into her mirror shades. "I give you the word of Shadow," Jesse said and placed her right fist against her chest and bowed her head. Marcus had that same instinct kick in and tell him that this was the ceremonial way of giving your word in her culture. It was sort of like laying your hand on the bible. So, needless to say, Marcus believed her fully. "That's good enough for me." Marcus said with a small impish smile. It amused him that she was as serious as he was most of the time. When they arrived at the house, it was close to six o'clock. Marcus just walked through the door and hoped for the best. He could hear Mouse's music blaring from upstairs. He thought it would be best if he spoke with Kathy first. He was still nervous as hell about her reaction. Marcus really did not want to mess with her thoughts. Jesse and Marcus walked into the kitchen to where Kathy was sitting at the table. Marcus looked at Jesse, then walked forward to his adopted mother. He was a nervous wreck doing this. He hated asking anyone for favors. Marcus walked over and sat down, but Jesse just stood at his side. "So you finally made it back? I was beginning to worry. Who's this?" Kathy asked as she looked up at Jesse. "Her name is Jesse. Look Kathy, I have a favor to ask you.... It's a very important favor to me, too," Marcus said in that low and serious voice that he usually used. "What is it?" Kathy asked with a look of suspicion on her face. For some reason she knew this favor was big. This puzzled her because Marcus never asked her for favors. "Jesse here has no place to go. I want her to stay here. I can't tell you why, either. It's just very important that she does." Marcus said, the words came out in quick low bursts because of his nervousness. "Marcus, this is a big decision. Where are your parents?" Kathy asked looking up at Jesse with curious eyes. "They're dead." Jesse said in that same low calm voice Marcus had. Marcus didn't know if she was telling the truth or not, but she was. "Kathy, I have asked nothing from you since I've lived here. You gave me all of your love willingly. But I am asking you a favor now and it would mean so much to me if you said yes." Marcus said with an expectant look. "I guess she can stay here for awhile until we figure something out. But we will have to see how it goes in the future. I trust your judgment Marcus. If you did not trust her, you would have not brought her home. She can stay in the guest room." Kathy said with that same look of curiosity on her face. Marcus then did something he had not done in years. He reached out and hugged Kathy tightly. This surprised and melted her heart. Tears even formed in her eyes. She had on only very few occasions made Marcus truly happy, and his hug made her feel a deep satisfaction. He was, after all, her only son. "I guess Marcus can show you the way to the guest room." Kathy said to Jesse, while wiping a tear from her eye. Marcus did not say anything to her about crying. He knew that she did not like crying in front of people. She thought herself weak when she did. Marcus just motioned to Jesse to follow. He noticed that she was smiling rather widely. Jesse obviously did not think Kathy would bend to Marcus' plea without him using the power. Marcus was tempted again to reach out and hold her hand, but he kept himself from it. He did not know what Mouse would think of it if she saw them holding hands. They both walked slowly up the stairs. Jesse knew that it was really Mouse's opinion that Marcus cared about. She was cautious, because she knew how jealous some girls were. As they reached the top of the stairs, Mouse appeared from her room. Her face was a beaming ray of sunshine, but that quickly faded when she saw Jesse. She looked to Marcus, then back to Jesse. "Who are you?" She asked with a look of curiosity. "My name is Jesse Budroux. I take it that you are the one known as Mouse." Jesse said this in a low and charming voice that reminded Mouse of Marcus' voice. "Yea.... It's not like you to bring people home to visit that you just met." She said looking at Marcus. There was just the slightest bit of jealousy in her eyes. "Well, you're right about that. Jesse here is going to be staying with us for a while." Marcus said in that voice that said 'drop it'. But apparently, and not to Marcus's surprise, she did not want to drop it. "Marcus, can I talk to you for a sec? Alone?" She asked with a strained voice and walked off to her room. "Stay here." Marcus told Jesse, then followed Mouse into her room. When inside and with the door closed, Mouse said, "I can't believe you brought a complete stranger here, and to top it off she's pretty!" Mouse said this in a whiny voice. "She needs my help and I plan to give it to her." Marcus said in a low and calm voice. "Why you?! Can't she go to the police? They would find her a home...." Mouse regretted those words as soon as they came out of her mouth. "You would put this girl in Hell's Outhouse, just because you're a little jealous?!" Marcus said this above his normal voice. In fact he said it rather loudly. Mouse almost shrank back from that voice. The voice that seemed to exude power. "No, of course not. I'm sorry Marcus. I was being childish. I guess if she needs your help, she needs your help. I take it if you wanted me to know what kind of trouble she was in, that you already would have told me." Mouse said with a frown. "Yes, I would have. Kathy already said that it would be OK if she stayed in the guest room. The most important question is, do you trust me?" He asked with that same serious voice. "Of course I trust you. Just don't fall in love!" Mouse said with a jealous and impish smile. As she leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. After she broke the kiss, he said "It's too late...." Marcus said this with a look of sincerity. Mouse did not catch his point and a brief flash of anger adorned her face. "I've already fallen in love... With you." He said this with charm and a look of boyish innocence. Mouse just gave him a warm and loving smile as she walked out of her room and back into the hall. She saw Jesse standing in the exact spot Marcus told her to stay. She walked up to her and stuck out her hand for a hand shake. Mouse might not like a strange girl hanging around but she did trust Marcus' judgment. "I welcome you to the Williams household, and don't expect me to cook you breakfast." Mouse said with a smile, as Jesse shook the young lady's hand. "I would never...." Jesse said with a tired look on her face. It was just then that Marcus realized that Jesse looked exhausted. He could almost feel the tiredness coming from the beautiful blonde. "Let me show you to your room." Marcus said and led Jesse away from Mouse. His room was only a couple of doors down from hers. It was the smallest bedroom in the house, but it was not all that small. It was about the size of a Master bedroom in a normal house. There was a king sized bed and it had its own bathroom. Jesse smiled her approval to Marcus as he walked her into the room. She immediately sat on the bed. "I will leave you so you can get some rest, but there is a question that has been bugging me. Could you answer it for me?" Marcus asked with curiosity. "Shoot." Jesse said in that same low voice. "I've been knowing things that you've talked about, by instinct. Things that I couldn't possibly know. Why is that?" He asked with a touch of concern to him. "I don't know. They could have read the Shadow Law over your crib before you got adopted. It's tradition." Jesse said this with a tired face. "I've been running for days without sleep. Can I please go to sleep? I hate to be rude." She asked in a tired voice. "Of course," Marcus said and walked out of the room to allow her to rest. He knew that he could get more answers from her when she awoke. There were still questions spinning through his mind, though. Like: why had he felt drawn to her at the mall? Why could he almost feel her emotion without trying? These, and a lot of other questions, were spinning through his head. As Marcus walked through the hall, he looked into Mouse's room and saw that she was putting on her shoes. "So where is my angel going?" He asked with boyish charm. "I'm going over to Jenny's. I thought that since YOU already have company, that I would go see one of my friends." She said this with a flirtatious smile. "Don't do anything I wouldn't." Marcus said with a devilish smile. Mouse stuck her tongue out at him in defiance. It was playful though. As she walked by, for no reason at all Marcus did the trick Jesse taught him. He shot an invisible probe out to Mouse's thoughts. He did this without thinking, but what he discovered surprised him to say the least. She did not care if he had sex with other women. The only thing she cared about was that he loved her the most. Marcus withdrew after he found that out. Marcus then came to a decision. There was a woman downstairs with long lustrous black hair and emerald green eyes that he would like to get to know a hell of a lot better. 'I just have to figure a way to make her think it's her idea. Because I'm not revealing this power to anyone else besides Mouse' he thought with a smile. Marcus walked to his room and sat down in a chair at the desk to think. He then began to think of his power and if he was misusing it. He wondered if he had not become some sort of pervert. Marcus dismissed that idea though. Marcus figured that any teenaged, red blooded American would do the same thing. Plus, he thought, he was not bringing anyone pain. He would not be bringing Kathy pain if he used it on her. He decided that he would bring her enjoyment and if she felt guilty about it, he would take those thoughts away..... With that, he stood up and walked out of his room. He made his way down the stairs, thanking whatever gods there may be that Mouse was out of the house and Jesse was asleep. That left him alone with Kathy. When he made it down the stairs he saw Kathy sitting at the table rubbing the back of her neck. He could tell that she was tense. He wondered again why he could pick up on people's emotion so well. Marcus walked up behind her and, like Mouse said, he moved as silently as a ghost. He just stood behind her for a moment. This was not from doubt of what he was about to do, though. It was to admire the loveliness of his adopted mother. She really was quite beautiful. Kathy was wearing a light sun dress that came a few inches above the knees. "You look tense." Marcus said with a coy smile. Since she didn't know he was there and, it sort of gave her a start. "Well.... Letting someone move into my home that I don't even know tends to do that." She said with a smile that made her look years younger. "I guess it's my fault that your tense. So, it's my duty to remedy your tension." Marcus said with that same coy smile as he moved behind where she was sitting. "What are you doing?" Kathy asked with a curious and amused voice. "I'm going to give you a massage, You don't mind, do you?" Marcus asked with boyish innocence. "No, I guess I don't. I could use one anyway." She said with that same curious expression on her face. She knew that he was acting strangely. Well, strange for him anyway. She passed it off to him showing his gratitude for her decision to let his friend stay, though. Marcus swept up her long lustrous black hair and flipped it over her shoulder so that her neck was exposed. Then he lightly touched her neck at first. Marcus started the massage off then. He did not want to use his power at first. Marcus wanted her to be completely relaxed when he did that. Marcus smiled to himself about what he was about to try to pull off. It had always been a boyhood dream. "That feels so good! You have wonderful hands." Kathy said with a smile as Marcus worked her tense muscles into relaxation. "Thanks. I'll be happy to do this for you anytime." Marcus said in that same low and charming voice. Kathy just sighed as she felt herself relax. Marcus could tell that she was more relaxed. That's when focused real hard and sent the command. 'THE FEEL OF MY HANDS IS VERY AROUSING' the command screamed out silently. Marcus was not sure his command worked at first. For the next few minutes nothing seemed to happen. Then Kathy crossed her legs. Then she would uncross them. Her breathing was getting deeper than normal. She was also squirming around in her seat quite a bit. For some reason it was quite exciting to Marcus to see a woman trying to hold back desire. Marcus then began to wonder what she was thinking. So he decided to send a probe into her thoughts. He saw what he thought he would see. 'Why am I getting turned on?! He's my son! Well, he is not blood related, maybe me and him could.... No! That's wrong! But I'm so WET' her thoughts were in torment and Marcus smiled to himself. Marcus sent another command to her. 'THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HAVING SEXUAL DELIGHTS WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE' The command rang out. Marcus wanted her to make up her own decision about it. That's why he was being less direct with his commands to her. Kathy was still crossing and uncrossing her legs. Then she asked "Marcus, do you have a girlfriend?" She asked this with a flushed face. "No.... I don't." He said as he continued to gently message her neck. Kathy then abruptly stood up and asked "Have you ever kissed a girl?" She asked him this with her face only inches from his face. Marcus could see the lust in her eyes. She was gently biting at her bottom lip. "Only a couple of times.... I really liked it though." Marcus said with boyish innocence. It was a put on, but if Kathy wanted to believe that he was an innocent, then what was the harm in that? Kathy looked at him nervously and asked "Would you like to kiss me?" She was as nervous as a school girl and this turned Marcus on to no end. For an answer, Marcus leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. Her tongue invaded his mouth as her body molded itself to his. He could feel her large firm breasts pressing against his chest. His arms wrapped around her and his hands slowly moved down to her shapely ass. He was pretty sure she could feel his rock hard cock press against her. The passionate kiss lasted close to a full minute. Then she broke it off and took a couple of steps back. At first Marcus thought she changed her mind. Then she said "We can't do IT here. Let's go upstairs!" She said rather urgently. Then she grabbed his hand and literally jerked him in the direction of the stairs. They both ran upstairs hand in hand. They flew to her bedroom. When they were in the room, she turned and closed the door. Kathy then turned to him and in one swift motion lifted her dress over her head. All the while looking at him with loving and lustful eyes. She then stripped her undergarments so that she was completely naked. Marcus followed suit and got undressed as quickly as he could. They both rushed to the bed and enfolded themselves together. They were once again in a passionate kiss. Marcus slipped his hand between their bodies and began to rub Kathy's clit until she whimpered and moaned. She was as hot as a woman could get. She rolled on her back and literally pulled Marcus on top of her. Her eyes looked heavily lidded and lustful. Kathy grabbed a hold of Marcus' cock and guided it into her wet womanhood. She moaned aloud as soon as it started to enter. Her legs were wrapped around Marcus' back in a death grip. Marcus started to slowly pump in and out of Kathy. He found out quickly that Kathy was a highly orgasmic woman. She started to come as soon as he made the first stroke. Her back arched and her legs gripped him tighter. "OOOHHHH GOD!" She moaned out rather loudly and he could feel her spasms. Marcus lasted longer than usual. He thought he was getting better at control, anyway. He lasted almost ten minutes. Then Kathy reached her peak. "OOOHHHH FUCK!" She screamed out, and her nails dug into Marcus's back. They left scratch marks three inches long. That was when Marcus blew his teenage seed. Marcus rolled off of her and they both felt limp and exhausted. Kathy was breathing deeply and erratically. Marcus felt like a million bucks. He had slept with two of the most beautiful women he knew and had satisfied them greatly. Satisfying the women he loved was just as important to him as self satisfaction. "Oh my GOD! What have I done? Oh God Marcus I am so sorry!" Kathy suddenly said and tears were forming in her eyes. "I can't believe I took advantage of my own son like that! I'm a slut!" She said this with a sob. "Kathy, you're not a slut. You and I both slept with someone we loved. Each other. What we did was a beautiful and wonderful thing." Marcus said in almost a whisper and stroked her hair. Then he sent the command 'BELIEVE THAT'. Kathy's face seemed to relax and after a few moments she said "I love you so much..... OH shit! We have to get dressed before Mouse gets home!" She said and flew out of the bed. Marcus agreed with her and did the same. Marcus had read in Mouse's mind that she did not care about him sleeping with other women as long as he loved her the most. But he did not know if she would feel that way if she found out he slept with her mother. Truth be told, Marcus did love Mouse more. But he loved Kathy too. He did not know how to juggle them so they would not find out about one another but he figured he would think of something. "Look, you go to your room and read or get on the computer. When Mouse gets here I want you upstairs and me downstairs." She said and gave a Marcus a gracious kiss and, since she was fully dressed, she flew out the door. Marcus got the rest of the way dressed. The whole time a large smile adorned his face. Then he just casually strolled out of the room. He thought it was cute the way Kathy was so nervous about Mouse. He then wondered what Kathy would do if she found that him and Mouse were sleeping together. When he turned in the direction of his room, he saw Jesse standing there in front of his door waiting on him. She had a rather large smile on her face and her thumbs were hooked through her belt loops. She just stood there smiling at Marcus like he was a very amusing specimen. "I take it you enjoyed yourself?" She said this with an even larger smile. "I thought you were asleep." Marcus said as he walked by her and opened his door. He walked in his room knowing that Jesse would follow. "It's required of a Knight to train themselves to survive on thirty to fortyfive minutes of sleep." She said casually as she followed him into his room. Marcus sat at his desk and looked at her. "Can I see your eyes?" He asked "I guess so." She said and lowered her shades and showed him her eyes. Marcus was a bit startled. They were almost the exact same supernatural crystal blue eyes he had. "At the mall you told me of telekinesis?" Marcus asked. He wanted to learn this. If the people chasing this girl knew it, then he most certainly had to learn it. "Telekinesis is not like the abilities you've learned so far. You have to build it.... Like a muscle." She said as she sat down on the edge of the bed. She moved like Marcus.... Quietly. That was of interest to him as well. "You said that you would teach me. So, teach me." Marcus said giving her a clinical look. "Do you see that brass paperweight on your desk?" She asked, pointing at the paperweight that bore the likeness of Shakespeare's head. "Yea" Marcus said. Jesse then stared at the brass paperweight really hard through her shades. Then it started to float in thin air. She made it fly to one end of the room and then back to other, then it set down in the exact spot that it was in before. Marcus just sort of looked at Jesse in awe. It was hard to believe what he had just seen "You try it. Imagine an arm and hand reaching out and picking it up. Go ahead, try it." Jesse said with an encouraging look. So, Marcus did. He focused really hard and envisioned an imaginary hand picking it up. And it did rise. But only a few inches off the table. Then it fell with a thud. Marcus suddenly got pretty dizzy, like he had been spun around 30 times really fast. Picking up that five pound object, even just a few inches, mentally drained him. "I feel dizzy...." Marcus said, shaking his head as if to make the dizziness go away. "You overdid yourself. I'm surprised you could even pick it up. I started out with a pencil and even that was hard in the beginning. If you practice everyday for a month you will be able to throw a NORMAL person across the room with thought alone." She said with a quite smile. "What about one of our kind?" Marcus asked with an expectant look on his face. "Just pray they don't come for a few months." Jesse said with a look of dread. Marcus said nothing. "I think you should learn to master normal people before you think of OUR kind." Jesse said with a smile. "I think I'm pretty damn good at it right now." Marcus said with a look of challenge to him. "You just know the basics. There is a hell of a lot more you know nothing of," Jesse said this with an impish smile. "But you will learn...." she added Author's Note I would like to thank Net Wolf for editing this chapter. I would also like to thank those of you who took the time to email me your thoughts. By nature, Marcus was usually not an impatient kid, but this situation fell under special circumstances. Jesse's words rolled around in his head. She had told him that he just knew the basics. So, needless to say, Marcus was wondering what REAL power was. Marcus stood outside of the school, looking like a patient boy. But on the inside, he couldn't wait for the training to start. Jesse had said they were to go back to the mall and find people to practice their skills on. Well, he would practice, she would teach. Marcus stood and watched as Mouse came out. "Hey, ugly. Where is Jesse?" She asked as she walked up. "She should be out shortly, the teacher wanted to talk to his NEW student. Listen, Mouse..." Marcus really didn't know how to say what he wanted to, so he just blurted it out. "Jesse has the same abilities I do. More even." The look of surprise was apparent on Mouse's face. "That's why you brought her home. Aren't you afraid that she will use them on me or Mom?!" Mouse asked this in a harsh but low voice. "She gave me her word that she would not." Marcus said, in that same low and calm voice that Mouse was used to. "You believe her?" She asked, with a look of disbelief. "Jesse gave me her word; or I believe her. Don't you trust my judgment?" "What do you think, you numbskull." Mouse said with a look of sadness on her face. That look said that she trusted him, but still did not like the idea. "Mouse, Jesse and I are going to the mall. She said that she is going to show me what I'm REALLY capable of," Marcus said this with somewhat of a sad look on his face. Mouse was pretty sure she knew why it was there, but tried anyway. "Good, I'd like to go to the mall." "Mouse, Jesse said that she and I should go alone. I'm sorry, I would like you to go too, but if she wants to teach me alone, then that's how it is." He said this in a low and sad voice. Mouse knew him well enough, that she knew he had asked Jesse if she could come. "Will you at least tell me what you learn today? It's interesting to me too, you know." "Of course I will. How could I keep anything from my angel?" He would have leaned in and kissed her, but was afraid of what people might think. So instead, even though the sunlight irritated his eyes, he lowered his shades and gave her a wink. For some reason, Mouse blushed. Marcus passed it off to her not being used to such flirtation. Well, flirtation that he really meant. Then he turned and saw Jesse walk out of the school doors. She was not dressed like Marcus was, in all black. She had to borrow some of Mouse's clothes since she brought none with her when she left the Zone. Jesse walked up to him quietly, not speaking until she was a few feet away from him. Marcus noted that she was not like most teenage girls, most of them would have waved, smiled, or even shouted out. Jesse merely walked up to him with her head bowed and her hands in her pockets, as if in deep thought. "Is my student ready for his lessons?" She said this with a coy smile that Mouse did not much care for. "Ready, and willing." Marcus said, with a smile of confidence that was not really his style. He was trying to hide his emotions and both girls knew it. "Mouse, I'm sorry I told Marcus that you could not come, but teaching the ways of Shadow is hard. He likes you a lot and you would cause distraction." Jesse said, her face was adorned with an apologetic look. "It's OK, just as long as I get him back when you're though with him." She said with a coyness that sort of made Marcus' groin stir. Jesse just gave a knowing smile and started off towards the mall, motioning Marcus to follow. "I'll see you when we get back. Until then, why don't you go to Jenny's." Marcus said, then started off behind Jesse. When he caught up with Jesse, neither said a word. Marcus guessed that she was thinking about what to show him. He did not much care for her silence. He smiled to himself, Marcus now knew how Mouse and Kathy felt about his silence. They walked side by side without stopping until they reached the mall. Once they arrived, Jesse abruptly stopped and turned to Marcus. "This part of your training can be a little draining, on most novices. We will do a little, then stop. Then later, do a little more. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day." She said with a teacher's tone. "What am I going to learn?" Marcus asked, his face full of curiosity. "The abilities you have learned so far are basic. You already know a little about controlling emotions, but you only intensify the emotion that is already there. I'm going to teach you how to implant new emotion." She said, awaiting his reply. "That does not sound too difficult." "Then, if you're up to it, I'll teach you how to erase memories and implant new ones." She said this with a look of challenge. That last one did sound a little difficult to Marcus. "OK, Ms. Budroux, lead the way." Marcus said, feigning confidence. As they started to walk in the mall Jesse said "You will have to pick a subject to test your skills on. When you pick one, we will take, he or she, to a secluded area of the mall. Make your choice wisely, pick one that came here alone." "So, you want me to probe their thoughts, to make sure they are alone?" "Exactly." "Alright, I'll give it a shot." Marcus said and then began to search for his subject. Jesse and Marcus walked all through the mall for about an hour looking for someone that was alone. Marcus was beginning to lose hope of finding anyone and some of the people that he probed, had thoughts that actually shocked him. They searched and searched, finally they came across a girl that was about the age of Mouse. She looked fit, her leg muscles were very toned, like that of a soccer player. But the probe Marcus did, told him that she was a gymnast. Her name was Kasey Jones. She was here by sheer luck. This was the first time that her parents let her come to the mall by herself. Her parents were very old fashioned, and, from what Marcus could tell, strict. Kasey was wearing a pair of loose shorts and a white and blue Dallas Cowboys football jersey, the jersey was about three sizes too big for her. She had short dirty blonde hair that was styled. Marcus thought that she was as cute as a button, he also thought that he had struck gold with her. "I choose her, the one in the jersey. Her name is Kasey Jones." Marcus said, pointing at the girl. She was standing in the mall store, Foot Locker. "OK, good choice. Call out to her telepathically, make her follow us to the back of the store. I'll monitor this, to see how well you do." Jesse said, then started for the back of the store. 'FOLLOW ME, DON'T QUESTION YOURSELF ABOUT IT' Marcus' command rang out to Kasey telepathically. Marcus knew that it worked, when she turned toward him, then advanced. Marcus then started to follow Jesse's path to the back of the store. They came to a door that said "JANITOR". The door was locked, but Jesse focused and Marcus heard the lock slip free. Kasey was behind them about twenty paces. She had a strange look of curiosity on her face, as if she was discovering something new. Marcus and Jesse walked into the room. It was not a very big room, but it was not that small either. They saw what a person would normally see in a janitor's room. Mops, brooms and buckets, things of that sort. It took a few moments for Kasey to arrive. She walked into the room, her bright green eyes beaming with curiosity. <'Lock her mind, so that she can't move. It will make it easier'> Jesse told Marcus with thought alone. Marcus did this, when Kasey was all the way in the room, and the door was shut. Marcus found that locking the girl's mind was incredibly easy. After her mind was locked, Kasey's look of curiosity turned to one of fear. Marcus felt a little guilty for that. Jesse could tell by the look on his face that he felt guilty. "If you feel guilty, why don't you take away the fear? I'll watch, just to see how easy it is for you." Jesse said with that same look of challenge. "How do you want me to achieve this little goal?" "Go into her mind, look at her thoughts, look at the fear she has of the situation and of us, then delete it." She said this with a coyness that Marcus thought was cute. Marcus just nodded in agreement. He then closed his eyes, focused hard, and dove into Kasey's mind. He saw that she was more than frightened, she was terrified. He looked around inside her thoughts a little more. For some reason, he wanted to know more about this girl. He found that her parents did not let her date, she did not have that many friends. A deeper scan revealed the fact that her father beat her almost every week. Basically this girl was pretty depressed. Marcus went back to the fear at hand, took the emotion and replaced it with one of happiness. He made it so she liked being where she was at the moment, and she liked being with Marcus. It was as if Marcus could grab the emotion, as if it had a physical body, and mold it to his liking. Marcus then opened his eyes, and released the mind lock had placed on her. Kasey's facial expression had changed for the better, so Marcus took it that he had done the task right. Instead of fear, a slight smile and a look of contentment was now on her face. "What's your name?" She asked, taking a step closer to Marcus. "My name is Marcus." "My name is Kasey. Why are you in the Janitor's room?" <'Lock her mind again'> Jesse's thought went out to Marcus silently. Marcus complied. "Now what shall I do, O' wise one?" Marcus said, mocking Jesse, but he had a smile. Kasey was not scared of the mind lock this time. "I'm impressed! You molded her thoughts rather easily. It was harder than hell for me to do the first time." Jesse said with an approving look. "Thanks. What's next?" "That didn't make your mind tired?" Jesse asked with a puzzled look. She was sure that it would make him mentally drained, as it did her, when she did it. "Not in the least. Should it have?" Marcus asked, he was feeling a little bit of pride in himself just then. "It usually does, I don't get it." Jesse said, her voice was that of a confused person. "Well, we will talk on that later. For now, what's next?" Marcus asked, wanting to try something new. "I guess we could try to create a new memory. That's a little advanced though...." She said, trailing off. "How do I do that?" "You have to look for a blank spot in the mind, then just use your imagination on what you want to put there. I'll watch." She said as she leaned against the wall. "What type of memory do you think I should put," Marcus asked. He had a feeling this was going to be a little more difficult. "The hardest is one of love, where YOU are her true love. If you use that one, you have to fill in the details. Like, why she loves you, how she should love you, should she be jealous of other women, things like that. It's easy to mess up in this area.... But don't worry, if you mess her up, I'll fix it afterwards." Jesse added that last part with a smile of vanity. Marcus knew that Jesse told him the hardest emotion to create, just to challenge him. She wanted him to fall, so she could pick him up. Jesse wanted him to make a mistake, so the teacher could correct the student. Well, her goading worked, Marcus was determined to impress the hell out of her. He dove into Kasey's mind and found a blank spot. He then focused all his energy and power as hard as he possibly could. He then shot the memory of love into her mind. He kept sending it for almost five minutes before he let up, then he started the details. He felt pretty wicked doing what he did next. Marcus made it so that he was the only boy that she would ever love, and love him she would, with all her being. He added memory details of make her believe he was the sexiest boy alive, and that she was always mildly aroused when he was near. He also put in the detail that she would never betray him, that she would do anything to please him, and she would obey.... He had no idea that had just made a slave. Before he left her mind, he added one more detail, just to see if it would work. Marcus made it so that if he tweaked one of her nipples, Kasey would become highly aroused. He did all of this, with all of his strength. When he pulled out, he felt mentally drained and a little dizzy. He had used every bit of the power he had on this girl. The dizziness in his head started to go away after a few moments, though. He released the mind lock on Kasey. Her face was immediately filled with a radiant smile when she looked at Marcus, along with very flirtatious eyes. Even with the jersey on, Marcus could see that her nipples had hardened. He still did not know what he had done, though. "Stay still, and don't say anything yet," Marcus told her, when she moved towards him. "Would you care to check my work?" He asked Jesse with a smile. Jesse nodded and closed her eyes, behind her mirror plated shades, and dove into Kasey's mind. She was there for a good three minutes, before she removed her telepathic probe. She then just looked at Marcus. There was no expression on her face, no emotion whatsoever. Then, when she did speak, Marcus did not care for what she had to say. "Do you have any clue as to what you just did?" She said this with a serious voice. "What you told me to do," Marcus said, his voice was a bit testy. "You burned that emotion in her head with such force that I can't fix it! The High Council of Shadow Zone could not have done a more permanent implant!" Her voice was harsh but low. That made Marcus know there was something else.... Marcus looked at her with curious eyes "She can not leave your side for more than a few days at a time, if she does she will begin to go mad. She will still have her likes and dislikes, but her world will revolve around YOU. You burned the emotion so deep, she worships you, like one would a GOD." Jesse's voice had calmed somewhat, but her words sent Marcus' thoughts into a turbulent spin. "Oh, shit.... What have I done? Oh, FUCK!" Marcus said in a low and very harsh voice. He could not believe he could be that stupid, that dense. He was suddenly aware of dangers he was capable of, and he felt alone. Jesse seen the color drain from Marcus' face, she suddenly felt sorry that she snapped at him. "Look, maybe it's not that bad. Most Shadow Knights do have followers, ones that cater to there every need. I've had a few in my time.... I just got a little mad that you did it to show off. I know you did not mean it. We can work through this though." She said with a calm and soothing voice. "You have had slaves?" Marcus asked, her words had soothed him a little, just a little. "Yes, but I set their mind free when I left, or ran, depends on how you look at it.... Look, I'll go to her parent's house tonight and CONVINCE them that she has to move in with you. You on the other hand will have to CONVINCE Kathy to let her stay, and believe me when I say, there are pleasures in having a follower..." Jesse said, she had a sultry look to her when she said it. "I should have thought before I acted, what I did is SO unlike me," Marcus stated, then turned to Kasey, she had tears in her eyes. This sort of alarmed Marcus. "You may speak, what's wrong?" "You don't really want me?" She asked, tears rolling down her cheek. "Yes, I want you, If I didn't, do you think that I would have picked you?" Marcus asked, with a slight smile. This made the flow of tears stop in Kasey's eyes. "So, I get to go home with you? I can stay with you?" She asked this with an expectant look, it sort of turned Marcus on to have someone want him so much. He was growing on the idea of having a "follower". "Yes, you will stay with me." Marcus said with a coy smile. Kasey had no words, she just ran at Marcus, through her arms around him, and planted her supple lips to his. Her tongue invade his mouth, the white hot passion of this girl had made his cock as hard as iron. She could feel this press against her and she moaned in his mouth. She was rubbing her thigh against his hardened member. Marcus rubbed her slender sides, then moved his hand up to her right breast, he squeezed it gently. Marcus then pinched at the nipple. They were still French kissing, and she moaned loudly inside his mouth. Marcus knew that she would do that, since he had set it up in her mind to do so. He then broke the kiss and stepped back. "Don't mind me, I rather enjoy watching." Jesse said with a impish smile. Marcus smiled, then looked at his faithful follower. "Would you take off your clothes for me, Kasey?" He asked this, knowing that she would comply. Even though she was HIS follower, he still did not feel right giving direct orders. "Yes, I'd love to!" She said, looking a little flushed. She grabbed the hem of the large jersey and pulled it over her head, revealing a white lacy bra. She reached in the front and undid the clasp to set the hard-nipped breasts free. They were quite a sight, such a sight that Marcus took a quick intake of air. Kasey saw his reaction and was proud that she had pleased her man. She did not think of herself as a slave, she felt she was there of her own free will. Kasey then slid her shorts and panties down in one swift motion, over her tanned and very toned legs. Her womanly aroma filled the air. Marcus looked on her with lustful eyes. "Now, would you like me to undress you?" She asked this with a husky voice. "By all means..." Marcus replied, he had a look of feigned boyish innocence. Kasey ran over to him and dropped to her knees, she then proceeded to unbutton his jeans and pull them down to his ankles. The boxers he was wearing, came down with the jeans. His cock flopped out and brushed against her face. Kasey looked up at him with a devilish grin, then sucked his hardened cock to the back of her throat. Marcus knew that he could not hold out long, not with the vacuum action Kasey was giving him. His breathing was getting pretty shallow and his hips began to sway back and forth. He held his breath as his leg muscles tensed and he blew his seed into his faithful follower. But she did not stop there. She continued her fantastic technique of sucking, this to keep her man happy and hard. After Marcus was got quite aroused again, he laid down on his back and gazed up at Kasey with an expectant face. She knelt down and straddled his hips, grabbing hold of his male member. At first she just gently rubbed it against the wetness of her slit, whimpering with pleasure the whole time. "OOOHHHH" Kasey moaned with a mixture of pleasure and pain, from having her virginity taken. She rocked faster and faster atop Marcus. The sensations she was giving Marcus made his head spin. She was a lot tighter than Mouse. In the heat of the moment, Kasey reached down and ripped Marcus' shirt open, just as Mouse once did. Kasey did this because she wanted to see her man's muscular chest. Marcus' attention was focused so much on Kasey that he forgot about Jesse, That was until he saw her standing above his face, fully naked. She was biting at her bottom lip and she was very flushed. Marcus guessed that she wanted to do more than "watch". "Would you mind?" She asked, without waiting for an answer she knelt down and placed her dripping pussy onto Marcus' face. Marcus wasted no time in snaking out his tongue into her wet hole. "MMMM" She groaned. The lovely Kasey had just started her orgasm on top of him. "OOOHHHH SHIT!" She screamed, while she bucked wildly. Marcus was close himself, but he wanted his lovely friend Jesse, to cum as well. So he sucked hard on her clit and she let out an ear piercing scream, Marcus could feel her thighs jerk and spasm against his face. That was all it took. he let his seed loose once again, grunting loudly. Kasey had one last mind blowing orgasm and then rolled off of him exhausted. Jesse fell forward on him, and laid there very still, with her head against his washboard stomach. They all lay exhausted and quiet for a few minutes. Then Jesse rolled off and stood up. She fetched her clothes, slipped them on, all the while with a content smile. Marcus followed her suit. He stood up and pulled up his jeans. He would have buttoned his shirt, but his little "follower", made all the buttons fly off. So, he had to leave his upper body muscle exposed, along with the smoked crystal necklace, that he always wore. It swung freely as he stood up. Jesse just happened to glance his way, and saw the necklace. At first she did not think anything of it. Then she did a double take. She just stood there staring at it, her beautiful face had grown pale, and if her eyes were visible, they would be filled with shock. It was a little discerning for Marcus to see her stare at him like that. "Jesse, what's wrong?" No answer. "Jesse, what's wrong?" He repeated, but it was still to no avail; she did not answer. "Jesse-" He started but was cut off. "Son Of Dakrin, Y-Y-You're the Son of Dakrin. YOU'RE THE SON OF DAKRIN!" She almost screamed. She was starting to make Marcus more than nervous. "I can't believe it..... The Son Of Dakrin." She said again in a soft whisper. "Who is Dakrin?!" Marcus asked rather loudly "He's...." She did not finish, she trailed off in deep thought. Chapter 6 "Who the hell is Dakrin?" Marcus asked again, annoyance was apparent on his face. Jesse was starting to get on his nerves with her silence, even though, he himself was like that sometimes. Jesse's composer was starting to return then. She looked at Marcus through her mirror plated shades and said, "If you do no not know, I'll explain it later tonight. Right now, we have to handle this situation, with Kasey." She said low, smooth and calm voice that was like Marcus'. It put him at ease, somewhat. Marcus looked over at Kasey, her eyes were still beaming with the lust they felt only moments ago. She had all her clothes on, but she still looked beautiful to Marcus. He wondered how, on earth, and in this century, could he explain this to Mouse. "Look, I know were she lives, by the cursory scan I did on her. I'll go to her home and SHAPE the thoughts of her parents so that everything will be alright, so they won't call the police." Jesse did have a calm voice, but her face still contained a bit of shock. "Are you sure that you don't want some help?" Marcus asked, for some reason he did not want her to leave his side. "Yes, I'm sure. You go home, tell the news of Kasey, then smooth every thing over. Even if it does take using your ability on Kathy. We can't afford to mess this kid up." Jesse stated. Kasey looked a bit offended at being called a kid. Hell, she was a little offended at being talked about, while she was standing right there. But she endured it because she loved her man so much. She would be quiet if he wished. "All right, if we're going to do it, lets get it done." Marcus said, his thoughts still spinning like a hurricane. "As you wish, Lord Marcus." Jesse said and walked out of the janitorial room. <'Lord Marcus? What the hell does that mean?'> he thought to himself, with great confusion. "Well, Kasey, looks like you're coming home with me." Marcus said with an impish smile. The idea of having a "follower" was really beginning to grow on him. Kasey beamed at this statement. She gave a girlish giggle and gave Marcus a gracious hug. "Thank you so MUCH!" she said with what looked to be genuine sincerity. "Let's go." Marcus said, then started for the door. Kasey was overly joyed to follow. Marcus' head was filled with questions of Jesse's last statement. He wondered who Dakrin was and if she meant that he was his son. By the way she sounded, the man sounded important. He remembered boyhood dreams in foster care, of having a famous father. Every step Marcus took near his home, made him more nervous. He did not know how to explain Kasey, to Kathy. Marcus figured he would use the straight forward truth with Mouse. After all, she had said she wanted to know what he learned today. Kasey was close to Marcus, but slightly behind. He wondered what she was thinking about, so, he peered into her thoughts, and found that she did not want to step before her MAN. She did not think of herself as a slave. Kasey was also thinking of ways to please him. She thought that was the most important aspect of life, to please Marcus. Marcus saw these thoughts in her head and had mixed emotions. On one hand, he was ashamed of what he had done to this poor girl. On the other, the wicked one, he felt like it would be pretty neat to have a follower, and he felt a sense of power. On the way to his home, Marcus put a few commands inside Kasey's mind. The first was, that she spoke to no one but Jesse, Mouse or him about his abilities. The second was that she treat his family with respect. She did not have to worship them, just give them respect were respect was due. As he made it to the front door, Marcus already knew what he was going to do. He was going to SHAPE Kathy's way of thinking, so that she would like the idea that Kasey is staying. With that thought in mind, he walked through the door. Marcus knew that Mouse was probably still at Jenny's, so it would be just him and Kathy. He walked into the kitchen and seen that Kathy was making herself an afternoon snack. She looked quite beautiful standing there and Marcus hated what he had to do next, but did it none the less. "I'm glad your here, do you want someth-" She was cut of in mid sentence by Marcus' mind lock. Marcus then dove into Kathy's mind. He found thoughts there that he had never thought of. Marcus found that she had very loving memories of him. From the moment that he had entered her life. This made him feel even more guilty of what he was doing. Marcus then proceeded to implant a command, it said that she should allow whoever Marcus said he wanted to stay, stay. Marcus could have implanted more commands if he wished, but he would have not have done that, even if you waved a million dollars in front of his face. Marcus then erased all knowledge in her memory that anything happened. Kathy would forget the mind lock, she would also forget that he walked into the room. When he released her, it was as if she just now saw him enter the room. "Hey Marcus, I'm glad your here, do you want something to eat?" She asked this with a radiant smile. "No thanks, this here is Kasey. I found her at the mall and I have to INSIST that she stays here with me..." Marcus said, hoping to the gods that his command worked. "That's fine dear, she can have the last guest room," Kathy said with that same radiance, and added, "You know, if you keep bringing people home like this I'm going to go broke!" Then let out a care free laugh. Marcus was not in the same good spirits as she was, he felt a little more than guilty. He gave a gracious smile though, for Kathy's sake, then motioned to Kasey to follow him up stairs. He walked with his head bowed, and hands in his pockets, as he walked upstairs. Anyone who knew him, could tell he was in deep thought. "So, which room is mine, Marcus?" Kasey asked with exuberance, she was overly ecstatic with the possibility that she could live with her man. She did not much care for the fact that she could not sleep in his room though. "This one right here," Marcus said, opening the door to the guest room. "I guess we can go retrieve your things from your old home tomorrow." He said in a low and contemplative voice. "This will be perfect!" Kasey said with a squeal. <'She's perky, that's for sure'> Marcus thought with a quiet smile. That's when he heard the front door open and close, downstairs. He figured it was Mouse. Because after a brief conversation with Kathy, he heard someone run up the staircase. Since he knew that Jesse would never run like that, it narrowed the possibility of who it was down. "Who's this? You brought another one home?!" Mouse was a little loud when she said this. "Let's go talk in my room. Kasey, stay in here, until I call you, OK?" "Kay." She said in a typical teenage fashion. Marcus then just walked past Mouse, and out the door. He walked in his room, glad to be finished with the outside world, for today anyway. Marcus knew, even before he left the guest room, that he was just going to give Mouse the blunt truth. He walked straight to his desk and sat down in the chair, with a tired sigh. Mouse walked in and sat on the edge of his bed, her face was sort of red from anger. She sat there with an expectant and irritated look. Basically, the look of a jealous teen. "I messed up big," Marcus started off. He didn't like admitting when he was in the wrong, because he hardly ever was. "I used to much power on her, she can't leave my side or she'll go mad." Marcus said this with a look of sadness that made Mouse believe, if he could take it back, he would. "How did you get Mom to let another girl move in here?" Mouse asked, her expression changed from anger to curiosity. Marcus just looked at her a long moment and she finally caught on. "You didn't! How could you do that?!" She yelled at him. Marcus suddenly felt old and tired beyond his years. He did not know if this was over exertion of his power, or if he was just emotionally drained. What ever it was Mouse seen it in his face and calmed herself. "She still acts the same, you didn't change her in any other way did you?" She asked, Mouse was worried about her mother. "No, I only gave the command for her to agree to let Kasey stay here." He said in a low and tired voice. That's when Jesse appeared in the door way. She was dressed differently. She looked like she did when he found her, she was dressed in all black. Tight jeans, and a t-shirt that showed off her chest quite well. The conclusion came to Marcus that she must have stolen some clothes from the mall. "Lord Marcus, I need to speak with you." She said in the same low and serious voice she usually had. "Lord?" Mouse, asked with a questioning look in her eyes, as she got up to leave the two of them alone. She could tell by Jesse's demeanor, that what she had to say to Marcus was important. She hoped Marcus would ask her to stay as she left, but that thought was to no avail. After Mouse walked by, Jesse closed the door behind her. "I suppose you have quite a few questions?" Jesse asked, while she replaced Mouse's seat on the bed. Marcus merely nodded, as if she already knew his questions. Marcus' tiredness was rather quickly starting to be replaced by curiosity. He suddenly wanted to know about the necklace that was around his neck, and he most defiantly wanted to know about this Dakrin guy, Jesse was raving about earlier. "Before I tell you of Dakrin," she started, lowering her shades so he could see her eyes. "I think that maybe I should tell you a little more about the Zone." She added, intensity was apparent in her eyes. "I have to admit I'm curious of that place as well. I would have asked you earlier, but I did not want to prod, it's not my style. But now that you bring it up...." He said, trailing off so she could start. "The Zone was first originated in a little shit hole town in New Mexico. The older of our kind, know the story better than I, but I will tell you what I know. It was started by a man with great power. He came to the town with eight Shadow Knights 30 years ago," She said, her eyes looking like intense blue fire. "We do have one thing in common with the Bible, you know," She said with an impish smile. "It says in the Bible, to be fruitful and multiply. That was what this powerful man that adorned the town said." She added the last part with a little larger smile. Marcus just gave her a nod to continue. "This man, he set the institution for the Zone. He set laws, acquisitions and other formalities. Basically, he wrote a new bible for the Knights to go by. He was also such a strong telepath, that he sent invitations to any blonde hair, blue eyed Knight in the world, to come and join Shadow Zone." She said, Looking at Marcus waiting for a question, the one she got, she did not expect. "Why do they call it the 'Shadow Zone'" He asked, Jesse did not expect this question. She thought, he would ask were exactly did Dakrin come into play. "They called it the Shadow Zone, and us Shadow Knights, because all of us have very sensitive eyes, when it comes to light anyway. That, and the name just seemed to describe the first eight fairly well. They were all masters of the blade," She said with sorrow in her eyes. By this time, Marcus' thoughts were in absolute turmoil. he was thinking of a thousand different things at once. He did not say anything though, because he did not want to interrupt Jesse's tale of biblical proportions, at least when it came to his kind. "This powerful man, that came to the small town, was not an evil person. He had some pity for the Normals that were around them. He made it law, that no Knight should have more than two followers at a time. He made it so, they would not harm the followers either. That the followers fell under protection of Shadow Law," She said, as she stood up and leaned against Marcus' desk. She did that so she would be closer and she continued, "He said that no follower shall ever come to harm by a Shadow Knight. He also made laws that we should not interfere with the outside world, lest we come under suspicion. His Shadow Law made since..." She said and trailed off. Again, he did not interrupt, because he wanted her to continue, with as much detail as possible. His mind was still spinning though, with possibilities he was thinking about. The Zone, sounded like the exact place he should be, at the moment anyway. "For years, the Knights of the Zone followed these rules and laws. Then the day came, exactly 16 years ago, that they grew tired of the old ways. They were tired of this powerful Knight, a Knight with power that was unmatched," Her eyes grew with sorrow, as if the past actually hurt her deeply. "Most of the Knights rallied against him, he did have his faithful though, but they were to no avail. They slew this powerful Knight, out of rage of the order he tried to place. They slew his faithful and followers as well." Jesse looked more than ashamed of their kind now. She looked as if, she wished it never happened. Marcus sat in silence. He already had a good idea of who this "powerful" Knight was. His head was reeling with possibilities, that is, if she said what he thought she would. Marcus no longer felt tired, he felt excitement. "What they did not know, was that he kept a journal. He knew of our kind's big uprising and planned for it. He had a son that no one knew of, how he kept it a secret, no one knows. But the fact is that he sent his son away for his safety. He placed his smoked crystal, with the golden claw attached, necklace around the boy's neck. So that one day, he would find out his rightful nature and were he was from, and he would bring order back to The Zone." She said, looking at Marcus with kind eyes. "And this powerful Knight's name was Dakrin?" Marcus asked, so much was coming clear in his mind now. "Yes, and you are the Son of Dakrin, Lord Marcus." She said in a low and sincere voice. "Why do you call me 'Lord Marcus'?" He asked, very puzzled. "It is prophecy that you reclaim leadership of The Zone. It is prophecy that you become the master of our people just as your father before you." She said this with a bowed head and a low voice. "You are telling me that I am destined for power, when you know, for a fact, that I am not ready." Marcus said in a very low voice. It felt like the weight of the world was just sat on his shoulders. "You will train, and if you wish, I will continue to help you. If my feeling is right, your telekinetic power will grow faster than that of a normal Knight." She said with a somewhat flirtatious smile. "You should know above all, that you and I would not compare with the entire Zone by ourselves." Marcus said with a slight frown, the prospect of this much power both excited him and frightened him. He was confused. Jesse then gave a coy smile. "There our those who would help us. My brother Shain is one of them." She said smiling with sincerity. She knew that he was warming to the idea. "You never told me you had a brother." Marcus said with a look of confusion. "Yes, he lives in New Orleans. Shain has created his own version of Shadow Zone, based on the old beliefs. The last time I heard from him, there were seventeen in his group. That was two years ago. They consist of rogues and outcasts, the Zone would not except. Most don't have our blonde hair and blue eyes." She said, her face beamed from the thought of seeing her brother again. "Why didn't you go to your brother a long time ago?" Marcus asked with a curious expression. "He told me not to try and leave the Zone until I was strong enough. I had just gained the courage a few days before we met." Jesse said with a light smile that looked good on her. "Do you think that he would let me into this little group" "Are you kidding? You're the Son of Dakrin. Dakrin has been his childhood hero ever since I can remember. Plus, he would have everything to gain by helping you train, to help take the Zone down and rebuild it." She said with an incredulous look. "If I left for New Orleans, then that would mean that I would have to leave my family..." Marcus said, his mind was already made up, but the thought of leaving Kathy and Mouse behind troubled him greatly. He loved them terribly. "Lord Marcus, we would only be gone for a little over a year. That should be plenty time to build your telekinesis. After that, you can send for your woman, she will come if she wants." Jesse said this with an almost apologetic look. "Could you not call me Lord, it just don't seem right." Marcus said with a feigned smile. Marcus felt like his thoughts were in a hurricane. He knew what he had to do. He knew that it was how it was supposed to be, and that it was right. But the situation strained his mind and emotions. It felt as if the world threw him one hell of a curve ball. "As you wish.... Marcus. You look tense. I know all of this must be hell on the mind. But you will grow used to this knew power over time. But until you do, is there something I can do to relax you?" She asked a she sat on Marcus' lap. Feeling Jesse's shapely ass pressing against his crotch made his male member spring to attention. "I'm sure I could think of something." Marcus said as Jesse leaned in for a kiss. Her tongue invaded his mouth as she wiggled her ass to make him even hotter. After the hot kiss, Jesse stood up and rapidly undressed. to Marcus' surprise, he found that she was completely naked under her jeans and shirt. He quickly followed suit and got undressed. When he was fully undressed, Jesse just pushed him back in his seat. She then straddled him, wrapping her legs around the back of the chair and his back. "OOOOHHHHH MY!" She moaned out, as she felt his hard cock slip into her wet womanhood. She Moved slowly at first but started to pick up speed. Marcus then grabbed her hips and pulled her up and down. She would moan loudly on each decent. Marcus could tell that she was very close to cumming by the way she was shaking and the flushed color of her beautiful breasts. He sucked the nipple of each breast when she came down, after he pulled her up. "OOOOHHHHH FUCK! MARCUS! FUCK!" She screamed out as the orgasm hit her. It was a very powerful one, and her body shook violently. She clawed at the back of Marcus' neck in the heat of passion, but Marcus hardly noticed, do to his own pleasure. Finally the moment came when he just let loose. He shot his seed deep. The feel of Marcus' cum shooting into her, sent her off into another mind blowing orgasm. Shaking violently, then laying completely still. Passed out from to much pleasure. Marcus was a little exhausted himself, but he did have enough strength to pick this beautiful creature up and lay her on his bed. Afterwards, he looked at this sleeping beauty and for the first time, he realized that he was in love with her. This love even matched the one with Mouse. Jesse would most likely follow him anywhere, but what she did not realize, was that Marcus would do the same for her. Marcus thought of the things she had said, he thought of the responsibility of it all. He was not used to such power. But deep down, he knew it was the right thing to do, to go to New Orleans that is. He just did not know how he would tell Mouse good bye. Even the thought of it brought him close to tears. Marcus also thought of Dakrin. If he practiced, would he become just as powerful? Or maybe more powerful? Jesse seemed think so. He thought of Jesse's brother in New Orleans. If he was the leader of his own Shadow Zone, how powerful was he? Marcus pushed aside these thoughts and told himself, that the future would tell. Chapter 7 It was the next day that Marcus decided to tell Mouse that he had to leave. He feared the tears that would come from his beloved, but never the less, it had to be done. Jesse had stayed the night in his bed, he knew that did not go unnoticed by Mouse. Marcus did not know how to approach the one he loved so long, to tell her he was leaving. When Marcus awoke that morning, he immediately packed his bags. He wanted to make his goodbye's as short as possible. After that was finished, he then started downstairs. Marcus walked slowly with his hand in his pocket and his head bowed. He hated what he had to do. But it was his destiny and he knew this like he knew the sky was blue. He saw Mouse and Kathy sitting behind the counter in the kitchen. They saw the look on his face and immediately knew that something was wrong. They had learned to love AND learn him over the last few years. Jesse and Kasey followed behind him. Jesse knew that this was hard on him, but there was no other way. He sat the suit case he was carrying down on the floor and looked at them. Marcus then did something that was totally unlike him. He reached up and took his shades completely off. Mouse could tell by the look in his eyes and the suit case on the floor that he was leaving. Tears welled up in her eyes. "I have to go. There is no other way.... And no, I can't tell you why or where I'm going." Marcus said in a low, sad, but yet serious voice. Kathy was about to put up a motherly front and tell him that he would do no such thing. But she saw the look in his eyes and just broke down into sobs. Marcus just walked over to her and held her tightly. She calmed somewhat, then just looked at him with sorrow in her eyes and kissed his cheek. "WHY! Why do you have to go?!" Mouse suddenly screamed, tears rolling down her face. "I promise I'll be back. I don't have an exact time.... But I'm not going to let you guys out of my life that easy." Marcus said in that same low and tender voice. "I love you..." Mouse said as she ran into his arms and gave a powerful embrace. Marcus hugged her back and a single tear rolled down his cheek. It was the first time he cried in a half decade. The sorrow he felt was immense. "I have to go...." He said, letting her go. His eyes swept over Kathy again. "Take the car and come back to me safe." She said as she reached in her pocket and pulled out a set of keys. She walked over to him and placed them gently in the palm of his hand. Then she gave him one last hug. Marcus then picked his suit case up and headed for the door. He did not look back from fear of his will breaking. Marcus slipped his shades back on as soon as he turned his back. He wanted know one to see the emotion he felt. That walk to the front door was probably the longest walk of his life. Jesse and Kasey was only a step behind when he walked out in the semi warm air. Marcus walked over to the fully restored '68 Mustang. The car looked brand new. 'Kathy always did have a taste for the classics' Marcus thought with a slight smile. This smile was not a happy one though. It was a sad one. The three of them got in the car, Kasey rode in the back, while Jesse rode shot gun. Marcus started the car and could feel as well as hear the power of the machine. He backed out of the drive way, taking one last look at the house. The house where he spent the best years of his life. Jesse could sense Marcus' sorrow and said "Don't worry, if all goes well, you will see them within a year or less. It depends on how fast you build your skill." She said this with a low and gentle voice that said 'I love you', without speaking it aloud. Kasey said reassuring things to him as well, but he really did not pay that much attention. His mind was on the two women he was leaving behind. Then he came to the thought that he was going to be the best Shadow Knight in the shortest time possible. He remembered reading something about how perfection should not be rushed though. Marcus drove down the road trying to make the thoughts of his past give way to thoughts of the future. He knew that he was in for one long drive. They would have to stop at a motel before the night was over. They drove for hours without speaking to one another. All three of them were thinking of something or another. They drove on and on for hours. In fact, close to six before Jesse said something. "Marcus, I think we should stop and get some rest. Besides, I have to call Shain to make sure that he will accept us." She said with a slight frown. "Have you ever tried to talk to him with telepathy? It seem's to me that it would be easier." Marcus asked with a curious expression. Whether or not he liked it or not, the darkness of when he left his most loved women, was quickly diminishing. "Yes, it would most certainly be easier.... But I haven't the power to reach him that far away." She said with an apologetic smile. "Is there anyone in the world that can do that?" Marcus asked more than a little curious. If he was to be as powerful as she said, he thought he might have a shot at it later on. He did not get his hopes up though. His past scars of rejection prevented that. "There are quite a few Shadow Knights in the world that can do that. Even some of the rogues and outcasts have accomplished this feat. But they say it was very difficult to do so." She said, smiling at Marcus' obvious thirst for knowledge. Marcus then slipped into deep thoughts of the possibility of power. He also kept in mind the old saying that 'Power implies Responsibility'. With that in mind, he made a vow to himself that he would not let the power he had or might receive go to his head. That would be the worse thing that could happen. They pulled into a town that was about sixty miles from their destination and Marcus pulled into a Holiday Inn to get them some rooms. He never really thought about money until then. He was completely broke. He guessed that he would PERSUADE the manager to let them stay there for the time being. Marcus really did not feel guilty when it came to using the power to get the necessities of life. Marcus found out that the more he used his power, the easier it became. He found that out with the manager of the motel. He wondered on the way to his room if he would be better at the telekinesis if he tried it. He had acquired a room with two beds in it. He did not know how comfortable the three of them would be in one bed. Jesse and Kasey followed close behind as he walked to his motel room. They had very little to say to one another for some cause. When they arrived in their room, Kasey just flopped down on the bed, as if the trip had exhausted her. Jesse walked immediately to the phone and picked it up to call her brother Shain collect. Marcus just sat down on the other bed, to see what news Jesse would tell. She got through to him but the only time she did not say yes or no was when she said hello. That was mostly what she said. "Yes Shain...... No Shain." Like that. It would have irritated him, but he scolded himself quickly for eaves dropping. Finally she just hung up the phone and turned to Marcus. "He asked me to hold off a couple of days on coming back." She said with a slight frown. "Why would he tell you that?" Marcus asked with an equal frown. He was just as anxious to get there as Jesse was. "He is trying to reach a peace agreement with a band rogues. They call themselves the Dark Knights. Shain said they had been at war for months with them. He is hoping for a peaceful agreement. If not, there will be war." She said this with a look of dread. "Why don't he want you there? From what I've seen, you are pretty damn good at telekinesis." Marcus said with a gracious smile. "I used to think that as well, but apparently Shain does not think so..." She said this with a sad look to her beautiful face, and Marcus was pretty sure that if he could see her eyes though the shades she was wearing, they would show the true depth of her sadness. "What's all this talk about telekinesis? I've never heard of it." Kasey asked with quizzical eyes. She had the curiosity of a cat, that much was for certain. "Well, I'm sure that Marcus would be more than happy to give a demonstration." Jesse said this with a devilish smile as she looked on Marcus. "Besides, I want to see if your any stronger than the last time you tried." She then added. "I guess I could give it a shot." Marcus said in a low and focused voice. Marcus then put all of his focus on a lamp. He could feel the familiar tingling sensation start to rise. The lamp was brown and ceramic. Marcus imagined a hand that reached out and grabbed the lamp. It immediately started to rise from were it sat. Then it lurched from the table pulling the cord from the wall. It just sort of hovered by the ceiling then. "Very impressive, Marcus." Jesse said with a rather predatory smile. "That's nothing." Marcus said in a low mumble as he held his concentration. Then the brown ceramic lamp that was hovering near the ceiling, burst into tiny pieces. Very, very small pieces. Marcus let go of his concentration right after he shot the blast of energy to destroy the lamp and they were showered in glass. None of them got so much as a scratch though, because the pieces were so small. Jesse had a look of awe when the lamp exploded. Kasey on the other hand, had a look of shock. She had never in her life seen such power. Marcus' face matched Kasey's. He never seen, let alone did something that powerful. The thought of himself doing that unnerved him more than a little. The real kicker was the dizziness did not come this time. That told him that he was capable of much more. "Do you feel dizzy?" Jesse asked, coming to his side. "No, not in the least.... What does that mean?" He asked looking at Jesse with a frightened and curious face. "Your strength is building it's self at an accelerated rate. I thought you would learn faster than most... But I never dreamed it would be this fast!" She said in a hushed whisper. "Kasey, what's wrong?" Marcus asked. She was just sitting on the bed with her bottom lip quivering. She was almost frightened to death. Marcus dove inside her mind and gave her commands that all was normal, that she should not be frightened. It took only seconds to do this. He then scolded himself for trying to show off. Her mind was immediately calmed when Marcus' command kicked in. The fear was replaced by a look of curiosity. After he fixed Kasey, Marcus sat down on the bed, his hands were trembling ever so slightly. This was not from exhaustion though. It was from a mixture of fear and exhilaration. For the first time, the feeling of what real power might be dawned on him. And he did not know what to think of it. Jesse could sense his torment and slid closer to him. She laid her head on his shoulder and said "You should be proud... There are not that many of our kind that learn so fast. At this rate you will be the strongest." She said in a low and loving voice. These words did little to comfort Marcus. All his life he wanted to be normal. He thought that he had a shot at it with the Shadow Knights, but now he realized that he was going to be sat above the pack. He smiled a cynical smile when he realized that most people would kill to get in his position. With a sigh he stood up. "I think that I will take a walk. I'll be back in a few hours." Marcus said as he started towards the door. "Are you sure you don't want to stay?" Kasey asked as she stretched out on the bed in a very sexy position. At least Marcus thought so. "That's a very tempting offer, Kasey," Marcus said with a coy smile, then added "But I have to clear my thoughts. A walk will help. Maybe when I get back we could..." Then he walked out the door. The moonlit night felt good to Marcus. He always did like the night better than the day. Marcus did not know it was the same with all Shadow Knights. He started his walk out of the parking lot. If he remembered right, there was a Wal-Mart super center not far from were they were at. So he started his way for it. He tried to push most of the thoughts of power out of his head. It all seemed so strange to Marcus. One day he was a shy and withdrawn boy. The next he found out that he was to be the strongest Shadow Knight in existence. All of this had brought on two different emotions. The first was exhilaration, because he was to be the best at something. The second was severe nervousness, that was because the power Jesse said he possessed was a little scary. He walked down the road in the semi-small town with a brisk stride. Marcus was starting to push the thoughts he didn't want out of his head. But when succeeded, there was more that popped up that he did not want. Like the thought of Mouse and Kathy. They was the two woman that had saved the last of his sanity in those darker years. How did he repay them? He left them crying when he left. There was not that much traffic left on the road he was taking. Marcus was glad of that. The reason being, he still did not like people looking at him. He kept his stride steady as the thoughts raced through his head. He was almost to the store that he wanted. He had decided on the store because he wanted to practice scanning abilities on the people in it. Marcus thought that would take his mind off the Zone. Marcus reached the store rather quickly. He walked into the cool air conditioned store and it felt good after the walk. He walked towards the back of the store. He scanned people's thoughts along the way. The reason he walked to the back of the store was because he wanted to work from the back and then to the front. The store was filled with quite a few teenagers. Most of them were girls, the ones that were not, was a teenage boyfriend of one of the girls. Marcus scanned people with casual ease. It was much easier than the first time he done it. Their thoughts both interested and frightened him. Marcus once heard that the human mind was a virtual trash can. He soon found out that the theory was not to far from the truth. Not to far at all. This was not so with some of the people he scanned though. Some of them were quite nice. Marcus was having a good time reading people's memories and fears. Some of the fears were quite silly. Marcus noticed that most of the teenagers in this store had never experienced real fear, as he had. After Marcus became bored he started to make his way towards the front door. That's when he noticed a man that was standing near the check out line. This man had shaggy red hair that looked as if he had not washed it in a week, and short beard. His clothing was normal enough though. This man was just staring intently at the check-out girl. Marcus was about to scan his thoughts, but the man did something unexpected. He pulled out a gun and pointed it right at the cashier. The gun went off with a mighty blast and the bullet went right into the cashier's stomach. She held her stomach as the blood seeped through her fingers, then just fell to the floor. The man then turned to the rest of the store and screamed "EVERYONE DOWN ON THE FLOOR NOW!" Marcus was in complete shock at first. But for some reason, that shock was starting to be replaced by a blinding rage. Marcus's rage was overwhelming him so much that his tight clenched fists at his sides were trembling. The thoughts of his past experiences in foster care were starting to flood back. The sight of the girls blood had started that. The man with the gun looked directly at Marcus then. "ARE YOU FUCKING DEAF! DOWN ON THE FLOOR NOW!" he screamed That's when something happened that Marcus had never done. A huge blast of telekinetic power shot from Marcus like a cannon ball and struck the man. The man that had the gun literally flew through the air about thirty feet, slamming against the wall with tremendous force. He then fell, fell to the ground with a thud. A wash of dizziness ran over him then. But that only lasted a few seconds. He walked over to the cashier that had been shot. She was just laying there holding her hand over her stomach. The shirt she was wearing was soaked through with blood. The girl was about his age. Marcus did not know why he did what he done next. Marcus went down to his knees beside the girl and pulled up her shirt just enough to see the wound. The girl did not try to stop him for some cause. Marcus could see the sweat that had broke out on her for face. He then looked down at the bullet wound she had. His face had grown pale then. Then without thinking he placed his hand over it. Marcus could feel the warmth of the blood that was seeping out and he could here her moan in pain. Marcus wished with all his heart that there was something he could do. That was when the strangest thing happened. Marcus had done what he done next by instinct alone. Marcus felt the power build throughout his body. It made him have a tingling sensation all over. The power then started to focus in his arm. He had never felt such power as he did just then. The power started to completely focus in his hand then. It suddenly left his hand and shot into the bullet wound the girl had. He felt it leave him in a rush and that was when a wave of dizziness washed over him. It was all he could do to sit up right. Marcus removed his hand from the girl and watched through a cloud of dizziness as the wound started to close and heal itself. Marcus noticed, that he himself, had broken out in sweat. He watched this wound start to heal and suddenly felt very tired. If he could have curled up in a ball and went to sleep, he would have. But he knew that he had to get out of there and quick. Marcus knew that the police would be there soon, but he did not know if he had the strength to change their thoughts. That little move he did on this girl had taken more than a lot out of him. He looked down at the girl and seen that she was quite cute. She had red hair and a few freckles on her face. She was looking at Marcus with a look of awe. She alone knew what he did. Marcus literally staggered to his feet. He was very weak. "Tell no one." He said to the girl before he started towards the door rather quickly. He was trying to fight off the wave of dizziness he felt. He started off in a slow jog towards the door. When he was glad when he reached the outside. The spring air felt good and cleared some of the dizziness, but not all of it. Marcus thought that he should try to run it off, since the police was no doubt on their way. He started off in a slow jog down the road. The dizziness would not let him run full speed. Even though he felt weak and dizzy as he ran, he could not help but to chuckle at the situation he put himself in. He was well down the road when he realized the dizziness had not let up. What he really wanted to do was stop and lay down. But that was out of the question. The motel was only about another mile down the road, so he had to keep going. So he kept going at that same slow jog. He was about give though. It was starting to become clear that he was not going to make it. Marcus was about to just sit on the side of the road when a blue car pulled up beside of him. He stopped and looked to see who was in the driver's seat. It was that same cute, red head, freckle faced girl from the store. "Get in. Hurry up!" The girl said and leaned over to open the door for him. Marcus was all to happy to comply. He walked slowly over to the car. It looked like a stiff breeze would blow him over. He sunk down onto the seat and thanked what ever gods there were for this ride. Marcus was positive that if he kept going the way he was, that he would have passed out on the side of the road. The girl still had the same look of awe on her face as she looked at Marcus. She put the car in gear and started off down the road. Marcus looked her over carefully. She was wearing jeans and judging by her arms she worked out. She did not have a lot of muscle, but what she did have was toned. she kept glancing at Marcus then back at the road. Her face had an odd smile on it. "How did you... What did..." She could not even get the sentence out, she was so flustered. "It's best you don't know." Marcus said in a cool and low voice. His dizziness was starting to let up somewhat. "I'll decide what is best for me," She said in a smile. "Now tell me what you did and how you did it." She added. "I don't know how I did it." Marcus said truthfully. "For some reason I don't believe that." She said with a wry smile. "Could you just drop me off at the motel down the road?" Marcus asked in a low and tired voice. "No, we're going to my house so I can change and me and you can talk. My name is Crystal by the way." She said with confidence that Marcus thought was a rarity for teenagers. "My name is Marcus. Look, I have friends at the motel and they will get worried if I am not back." He said with a slight frown. "You can call your friends from my house. I REALLY want to talk to you about what happened." She said as she watched the road. "Very well." Marcus said, not feeling like arguing with the redhead named Crystal. She just nodded with a smile and continued driving. Marcus' head was spinning with ideas about what to do with this girl. He thought about giving her a few convincing lies, but that really wasn't his style. He was not for sure whether or not he should tell the truth. Marcus knew that Jesse would disapprove. Then he thought of changing her thoughts around after he got his strength back. But he decided against that because he was the one that revealed his power to her. His mind was also spinning with the fact that he had actually healed someone. Jesse never told him that Shadow Knights could do that. She would have told him if they could. This was yet another power that set him beyond the normal for Shadow Knights. This sort of power made him nervous and excited at the same time. Marcus wanted to ask Jesse about it when he seen her again. "Here we are." She said as they pulled into a driveway. It was most defiantly not a rich neighborhood. Judging by the size of the house, Marcus guessed that it could not have but one bedroom. The paint on the outside of the house was chipped and wore by the weather. Marcus knew that she had to live by herself, because a family could not live in a house that was so small. Crystal looked at Marcus and said, "I know it ain't much, but it's mine." She said this with a small smile. Marcus just smiled back and got out of the car. They walked up to the house, all the while Marcus was thinking of what to say to her questions, when she started shooting them at him. There was so many things that he could tell her, but didn't want to. Marcus was positive that Jesse would disapprove of this little meeting. "Come on in and make yourself at home." She said after she unlocked the door. Marcus walked into the house. Unlike the outside, the inside looked quite nice. Crystal was obviously a stickler for neatness. "I'm gonna go take a quick shower. You wait right here. OK?" She asked Marcus with a twinkle in her eye. Marcus only nodded and took a seat on her sofa. The dizziness was almost completely gone now. What ever he did at the store took allot of energy, that much was for certain. Marcus wondered if Jesse would be worried about him yet. He knew that he should call her, but he was not about to search Crystal's house for a phone book. He did not want to be rude by going through her stuff. He would just wait until she gets out of the shower. Marcus then came to the conclusion that it might be best if she forgot what happened today. He could mess with her thoughts a little bit and she would be better off. Marcus didn't really want to do this, but it would be better than telling her the truth. He sat on the couch wondering how he built enough power to make that gunman fly thirty feet. He knew for a fact that the man had to be dead as hard as he hit the wall. About ten minutes later, Crystal walked back into the room. She was a sight for sore eyes, that was saying the least. She was wearing a pair short cut-off blue jean shorts and a tank top that just barely covered her breasts. She certainly had a knockout body, that was for sure. She then walked over to Marcus and took a seat besides him. "Now would you mind telling me what-" She was suddenly cut off by a mind lock that Marcus put on her. He could see the terror in her eyes when he placed the mind lock on her. This made him feel a little bad, so he removed the terror immediately when he dove into her mind. Marcus routed around until he found the memories of what happened that day, then erased them. He found this very easy to do. While he did this he thought that he might as well have a little fun. He placed the emotion of lust as well in her mind..... When he withdrew from her mind, he looked at her with a devilish smile. Her breathing had deepened and Marcus could see her nipples poke through the tank top she was wearing. She was also starting to rub her thighs together. All of this, along with her flushed face, told Marcus that he placed the emotion right. "Is anything wrong?" Marcus asked, playing coy. "I don't know.... I feel....." She started and trailed off. Her hand then strayed between her legs to rub her crotch. She then moaned lightly as her other hand massaged her breast through her tank top. Marcus watched this with lustful eyes. Crystal would have seen just how lustful his eyes were if he was not wearing his mirror plated shades. "Would you like me to help you?" Marcus said placing a hand on her thigh. "Oh, God yes!" She said and jumped to her feet and started to strip her clothes. She removed the tank top with one swift motion and then slid the shorts and panties down as well. Crystal then gave Marcus lustful look. Marcus stood up slowly with a coy grin and started to undress. But apparently he was not fast enough, because she ran over to him and ripped his shirt open. The buttons flew every where. She stripped off of him and then pulled his pants down to his ankles. After that, she promptly pushed him down on the couch. "Don't move!" She said with a husky voice and straddled his hips. She moaned rather loudly as she sunk down on his manhood. She started by rocking her hips up and down slowly. But it only took her about ten seconds for her to for get about slowness. She then started bucking rather fast. She was moaning loud and digging her nails into Marcus. Marcus could tell that she was approaching climax. But so was he and that made it alright. She was riding faster and faster. Then she stopped every muscle in her body tensed up and her face was one of pure ecstasy. Marcus could her inner muscles start to squeezed and milk him. That was what set him off. He shot his seed deep within her. After she her climax passed, she just fell limply on his chest. She was passed out cold. 'Pleasure overload' Marcus thought with a coy smile. He then slipped out from under her and grabbed his shirt. As he looked down at the sleeping beauty, he was proud that he could save her life. After he was fully dressed he started for the door. All the while wondering about the new power he learned today. Marcus wondered if Jesse would know anything about it. He had about a three mile walk ahead of him, so he would have plenty of time think. Marcus's Power Chapter 8 Marcus had a lot to think about as he walked back to the motel. His mind always strayed back to the fact that he actually healed someone. It both thrilled him and scared him. His power was starting to build at a very alarming rate. The only problem was that he had no clue as to how he could use it against his own kind. And if he was right, he would have to find out in the near future. Before he reached the motel, Marcus started to think of Jesse's brother Shain. He wanted to know a little more about him. Marcus hated going to someone's home and not knowing that much about them. Marcus wondered just how powerful Shain was. Jesse had told him that he was more powerful than she was. But was he to be even more powerful? Those were the thoughts that raced around in his head. On the walk back to the motel, Marcus noted something that he thought to be quite odd. He knew for a fact that he over exerted himself earlier that day. He should have been tired then. But that was not the case. It seemed like with every step he took, he was filled with a powerful feeling that just made him feel as if he were indestructible. When he finally arrived at the motel, he walked in the room to see his to ladies laying down on the separate beds. Well, Jesse was not exactly laying. She had her back propped up against the head board and her legs stretched out and crossed before her. 'She really is a vision' Marcus thought with a smile. Marcus looked over to see Kasey sleeping on the opposite bed. Marcus smiled and felt sorry for her. He still felt a little bad about what he had done to her. But he had to admit to himself, that having a follower did appeal to him somewhat. Marcus did not know how to broach the subject of what happened that day. As it turned out, Jesse broached it for him. Much to his relief. "So, you finally decided to come in?" Jesse asked with an arch of an eye brow, then added, "Is there any reason your shirt is ripped and you have blood on your hand?" Marcus looked down and realized that he had never washed up. He knew his shirt was ripped open though. "The strangest thing happened today..." Marcus said in a low voice. "Do tell." Jesse said as she patted the empty space in the bed. "I was at a store and someone got shot..... Then I put my hand on the wound and healed it." He said this in a low whisper. "You did what?!" Jesse asked with a look of amazement. "I healed it... But afterwards, It really wiped me out." He said in that same low voice. "Jesus Marcus, did you know how many Shadow Knights it takes to heal a mortal?!" She said, her voice was one of amazement. "How many?" Marcus asked, trying to hold back a smile. His pride was kicking in. "Four! How on earth did you do it?" Her face was still one of amazement. "Don't get to cocky though, it will still take a while to build your battle reflexes." She said with a sly smile. "Your not a Shadow Master yet" she added "Shadow Master?" "That's what they call the best of the best. Shain is one of them. But it took him years of solid training to achieve it." She said with a look of contemplation. "When I tell him who you are, he will be happy to train you." She said with a smile. "You haven't told him who I am?" Marcus asked with a frown. "No, I want to surprise him." Jesse said as she laid her head on his shoulder. Marcus took on the look of deep thought. He was thinking that just because Jesse liked him, that didn't mean that Shain would be so gracious towards him. Jesse had said that Shain was the best of the best. A Shadow Master. 'What if he feels threatened?' He thought. He also thought of how fast he would learn if Shain did train him. Marcus then considered what Jesse said. He thought of battle reflexes. "You look worried." Jesse said, her head still laying on his shoulder. She did not know it, but she had the look of a girl who was deep in love. "What kind of person is your brother?" He asked as he stroked her hair. "He is a Knight of the Old Code. He is usually very serious and intense. You have to understand, most Shadow Knights, good and bad, follow a set of rules." She said this as she lowered her shades to show him her beautiful eyes. "What do you mean, Old Code?" Marcus asked, his curiosity peaking. "Take for example, none of us use guns. We consider them a weapon for a coward. Instead, if we don't want to use telekinesis, we use swords. Most Shadow Knights are master swordsman, compared to Normal people anyway." She gave a sigh then and rubbed her hand on his chest. "Why use swords?" Marcus asked. This conversation was getting more and more interesting. "It's just tradition. All Shadow Knights follow it. The reason being, that some of us can put up a telekinetic shield around us. A blade can get through, but a blast of energy can't. That's why most of us were taught the art of the sword early in our life." She said as she slid her shades back on. "So that means that I will have to master the art of the sword?" Marcus asked as he continued to stroke her hair. "Yes... Don't worry, Shain will be more than happy to teach you. Once he finds out who you are, he is going to flip. He has waited for years for you to surface." She said with a radiant smile that warmed Marcus' heart. "What are some of the other traditions?" Marcus ask, this very interesting to him. "Hush now. you need your rest. I can tell your tense. You will find out when we get there. Now go take a shower and I'll give my future Shadow Master a massage." She said in a loving voice. "Oh, so I'm going to be your boss in the near future?" Marcus asked with a devilish smile as he slipped out of bed. "It's prophecy, plus it's your destiny." She said in a low and sexy voice as she stretch out on the bed. Marcus just gave her a smile as he retrieved some clothes from his suite case. "I'll be right out, you better keep your promise." Marcus said with boyish charm. "No need to worry about that my love." She said those words without even knowing it. Marcus caught it though. It made him feel warm contentment. He gave a sweet smile to her as he walked into the bath room. He felt lucky to have Jesse in his life. This was what he was thinking when he entered the bathroom. After he stepped in the shower and the warm water him, Marcus realized just how tired he was. He felt like a very old man. That trick he had done on Crystal wiped him out. He leaned into the hot water of the shower, letting it splash against the back of his neck. His mind was filled with the vision of power that he might learn. He scolded himself for getting his hopes up though. He should know better than anyone not to do that. A person is just setting themselves up for a fall when that happens. He was curious about the art of the sword though. He wondered how good he would be at that. It was one of the things that worried him. He did not know if he could build his reflexes to Jesse's expectations. Pity himself if he couldn't, because all of the bad guys would have that ability. He stepped out of the shower feeling a little better. But his body was still tired as well as his mind. Marcus made a mental note about being careful the next time he did that healing trick. Marcus just slipped on a pair of jeans since Jesse had so graciously offered to give him a message. Marcus walked out of the bathroom and noticed that Kasey was still out cold on the other bed. "I guess it's a little hard for her to keep up with us..." Marcus said with a smirk. He really did not like dragging Kasey into this. "Yea.... But trust me, she would not want to be anywhere else. Now come over here and lay down, so I can fulfill my promise." She said with a smile that was filled with love and caring. "What ever gets you your kicks." Marcus replied with a devilish smile and laid down on the bed. Marcus was sort of looking forward to some relaxation. Jesse gave a girlish giggle, that really was not her style, and straddled the small of Marcus' back. She started to knead the muscles in Marcus' neck. "Goodness Marcus, your as tight as a knot." Jesse said with a low voice. "MMM" Was all Marcus could say. He never had a message before and was enjoying it immensely. "Your enjoying this aren't you?" Jesse said with a low chuckle behind her soothing voice. "Oh yea." Marcus said with a hint of a smile at the corner of his lips. "I'm glad I can please you." Jesse said as her hand started to knead the muscle in the small of his back. 'Jeez, is he tense. He must be worried about what Shain will think' She thought as she expertly kneaded the knots out of Marcus' back. Marcus could feel himself relax, and he relished the feeling. All of the troubled thoughts seemed to be slipping away along with the knots in his back. He had not felt this relaxed in days. He thought about the girl that was sitting on his back, bringing him relaxation. Marcus came to the realization that he was going to her brother's for her sake more than his. 'If she wants me to be the greatest of Shadow Knights, then I will' He thought. His head lay on the top of his hand as she continued his massage. Jesse already knew that he was ten times more relaxed than when he came in. His breathing was becoming deeper and she knew that meant that he was close to sleep. She kept up her kneading though. He fell to sleep about five minutes later. Jesse slipped off his back and laid beside him. She noticed for the first time that he had came out of the bathroom without his shades on. She looked at his sleeping face and wondered if he had any idea about how she felt about him. Jesse decided to do something just then. She decided to go inside his thoughts while he slept. She called up her focus and slipped into his thoughts. She looked for memories and images of herself specifically. She did not bother with other stuff, because she did not want to invade his privacy. What she found there made a tear roll down her cheek. It was not a tear of sadness, but a tear of joy. Her future Shadow Master did not love her a little, he loved her a very great deal. But he was not for sure she felt the same way. 'Well, I guess I'll have to prove how much I love him!' She thought with a smile and a sigh as she took off her shades. She laid them on the night stand and snuggled in closer to him. She did this carefully so as not to wake him. As Marcus slept, Jesse thought of the feelings she had for him. It was a little amazing she thought, that she could fall so head over heels in love with the boy in such a short time. But she knew in her heart that the feeling was real. She had always thought that love was over rated until she met Marcus. But now she knew what all the fuss was about. She knew she would do anything for him. She fell asleep next to her true love with thoughts of what she could do to prove her love to him. She knew how cynical he was, so it would take a great deal. Her last thought before she slipped into sleep was that it would be worth it. ***************************** Marcus awoke at daybreak to see a pair of beautiful blue eyes staring at him with a sparkle in them. The face they belonged to had a touch of a smile at the corner of it's lips. Marcus was becoming more and more in love with the angel that goes by the name of Jesse with every day that went by. He smiled at her lovingly and reached out and traced his finger tips across her face. "Did I fall asleep on you?" Marcus asked in a low voice as he stared into those beautiful blues. "Yea, but that was what I was shooting for." She said with a small cute smile. "Well, I guess we should get up. I don't feel like laying in bed all day." Marcus said with boyish charm "Well..... There are far worse things than laying in bed with you all day!" She said as poked him in the stomach wither her finger and laughed. "Your right about that.... How long have you been awake?" He asked, curious. He was already pretty sure what the answer was. "I went to sleep close to the time you did. I woke up a couple of hours later though.... I haven't slept that long in years!" Jesse said with a radiant smile. "Makes me feel a little bad for being a sleepy head." Marcus said with a small frown. "Don't worry, when your power increases, you will need less and less sleep." Jesse said, stroking Marcus' hair. "Speaking of which, I need to practice today." Marcus quipped with a boyish smile. "Marcus, I was thinking.... Maybe we should hold of on going to my brother's. Just for a week or so." She said with a look of contemplation. "Is something wrong?" Marcus asked, a look of worry crossing his face. "OH no! I just know this place I would like to take you to. It's very peaceful and you could train there." She said with mischief in her eyes. What she did not tell him was that she just wanted to be with him for another week before Shain and him started training. Because, if she knew her brother, he was going to push Marcus hard. "Would you REALLY like to take me there?" Marcus asked with an impish grin and kissed her finger tips. "Yes I would." She said with a look of love on her face. Marcus then slipped out of bed and got the rest of the way dressed. "So where is this little place of yours?" Marcus asked as he slipped what was left of his attire on. That was his shades. "About sixty miles east of here, out in the middle of the woods. It's a cabin I've been to once or twice." She said as she slipped out of bed. "Sound's nice and quite.... I think we should wake up sleeping beauty first though." Marcus said, motioning to the still sleeping Kasey. "Yea." Jesse said with a sigh. Her face took on a sad look. "Is there something wrong Jess?" Marcus asked, not noticing that he took the E out of her name. She looked sad to him and he did not like it. "Look Marcus, I don't have anything against Kasey.... But I wish I could reverse the commands you did on her mind. That way we could go alone." Jesse said in a low voice, so not to wake Kasey. "You said that I was better than the High Council at that kind of stuff. Maybe I could reverse it... If you wish me to." Marcus said with a look of focus. Jesse just nodded her approval. She knew that on mind control, Marcus was the best she had ever seen. She really wanted this week alone with Marcus. She just wanted to be close to him before the trouble started. She was not thinking of the Dark Knights, but the main Shadow Zone in New Mexico. Jesse knew that there would be one hell of a war when Marcus and Shain joined forces. It was going to get messy and she just wanted to spend one more peaceful week with him alone. "As you wish." Marcus said and walked over to the sleeping form of Kasey. He knelt down beside the bed and gathered all of his focus. He then let his mind stray to her sleeping thoughts. Marcus took note that it was a lot easier than when she was awake. Within moments, he found the commands that he had place. At first he tried to gently remove them. But he soon found out that he had buried them pretty deep. Then he pulled with all of his mental power and ripped them out. He could feel dizziness start to wash over him. Before he pulled out though, he gave Kasey a command to sleep for another couple of hours. He pulled out then and fell squarely on his ass. he world seemed to be spinning for him. Marcus had know clue that it would be so hard to remove the stupid commands. It completely drained him and his head started to throb. Jesse was immediately at his side. The world was now swimming in and out of focus for Marcus. He could feel Jesse's hands on his shoulders and he could tell that she was saying something, but his mind could not grasp what the words meant. His head hurt like hell and it felt like someone was beating a hammer against it. But for some reason the throbbing of his head started to clear his vision somewhat. He focused on a beautiful, but worried looking blonde. He gave her a weak smile, despite the pain. He didn't like seeing her face in a worried state. So, he smiled for her sake. Marcus would have tried to stand up, but the room was spinning so much that he didn't dare. So he just sat there giving Jesse a hazy smile. "Oh God Marcus, I'm sorry, if i knew that was going to happen I never would have asked." She said hugging his shoulders. Marcus was just glad that he could finally understand her words. This feeling was ten times worse than the one he had when he healed the bullet wound crystal had. Everything was cloudy. Even though Marcus could now understand what Jesse was saying, her voice seemed far away. It dawned on him that the reason it was so hard was that he was going against his own power. It was him who set the commands. "Marcus are you OK?" Jesse asked in a low and very worried voice. She noticed that most of the color drained from his face. She didn't like that at all. 'Better say something. She looks worried' he thought. "No harm, no fowl." he said in a barely audible voice. His head pounded harder when he spoke. "Don't try the tough man act with me! You look like hell." She said. She was trying to act irritated, but the worry on her face gave her away. "Help me to.... Car. I don't want to be... Here when Kase wakes." Marcus said in broken sentences. His head was pounding really hard. Jesse nodded her head quickly and then scooped him up in her arms. She did this like a groom might carry a bride across the threshold. The ease of how she did it amazed Marcus a little. He smiled a little when he realized that Jesse probably had quite a few surprises he didn't know about. The sunlight hurt his eyes even with his shades on. When they reached the Mustang, the passenger door seemed to open as if by magic. Marcus knew that it was Jesse using her kinetics though. He had to admire how precise her ability was though. She slid him into the passenger seat with ease, trying not to jar him. She had seen the look of pain on his face. She mentally scolded herself for making him try something so difficult. She knew he was good but that was not an excuse. He was still a novice at the game and she should have thought of that. "So are we going to your secret hiding place in the mountains?" Marcus asked as she slipped into the drivers seat. He only spoke because he was trying to light the look of worry on Jesse's face. "Yes.... You over did yourself big time, didn't you?" She said, if he could see her eyes, he would see a sad look. "Maybe a little.... Drop it, OK?" Marcus said with a weak smile. "Alright.... If you over did it as bad as I think though, it will take the rest of the day for you to recuperate. Marcus just nodded and said, "I hate to be rude... But I have to take a small nap..." Marcus said. But before Jesse could reply, Marcus slipped into unconsciousness. Jesse reached over and stroked his hair a little and said, "Sleep my love, sleep." Then she pulled out of the parking lot and started for the cabin they talked about. Truth be told, Jesse hated driving. She smiled to herself when she thought of Marcus trying to hide his pain. Her brother Shain called it 'Warrior's Pride'. She defiantly thought that Shain and Marcus would get along. She was just worried that Shain might push him to hard and he would end up in the shape he is in now. Jesse knew that Marcus would be better by nightfall. She knew what it was like to overdue your ability. She also knew that he would be stronger the next time. She was so engrossed in thought that the few hours it took too get to the cabin seemed like minutes. The cabin was deep in the woods. The closest neighbor was fifteen miles away. Jesse liked the seclusion and she knew that Marcus would as well. They were allot alike, she knew that from the scan she did on him when they first met. When they arrived at the cabin, she looked over at the still sleeping Marcus. His face was so peaceful and beautiful to her. Whenever she looked at him to long she always got flutters in her stomach. She lightly reached out and touched Marcus' shoulder and he sat up bolt right and startled. Sweat had broken out on his face and forehead. If Jesse could see his eyes, she would see that they had a wild look to them. "What's wrong Marcus?" Jesse asked, worried again. Marcus relaxed his muscle a little and gave a week smile. "Nothing. Everything is fine... so this is the place huh?" Marcus said he opened the door and stepped out. He just efficiently evaded the question, much to Jesse's dismay. The only reason Jesse did not push the issue was because that she was happy to see Marcus get out of the car on his own accord. He was a little shaken but looked like he had most of his strength back. She smiled as she stepped out of the Mustang and followed Marcus up to the cabin "It's small and quaint, but I like it." Jesse said, a bright smile radiating from her. Marcus thought that it was because they finally arrived at the cabin. but the real reason was she was glad to see all the color come back to his face. "I like it too. let's go see what kind of shape it is in." Marcus said and closed in on the cabin. They walked through the door and Marcus seen that the cabin only had to rooms. The first was the one they were standing in and the second was the bedroom. It had no electricity and it was very quite. This made Marcus happy because there would be no distractions with his training. He smiled at just the thought of training. "Yea, I think it's a good training spot too... That was what you were thinking, wasn't it?" Jesse asked with a coy smile. "Did you dive into my mind? You little minx." Marcus said with a boyish smile. "Don't have to, you're as transparent as glass... At least to me anyway." Jesse said with a devilish smile. "Oh, is that so?" Marcus said, looking down at his shoes. Then with speed Jesse did not count on, because of his condition, Marcus bolted at her and swept her off her feet and raised her above his head. "If you're so good at reading me, then why didn't you see that one coming?" Marcus said with a laugh. "You... You asshole! Put me down!" Jesse screamed out. But a fit of laughter came out of her none the less. Marcus turned her over head so that she slid down the front of his body. When she was firmly on her feet, her face was only centimeters away from his face. Marcus leaned in and gently kissed her bottom lip as he stroked the side of her face. Jesse thought her heart would melt if he kept it up. Marcus backed away with his own devilish smile. "I want to start my training now." He said in a low and charming voice. "How did you recover so fast? You have more surprises than a birthday party." She said as she tried to take the flushed look off her face. "My guess is I'm lucky." Marcus said with a smile. Marcus knew better than that though. He was not lucky, he was just destined to become more powerful than most Shadow Knights. But he didn't think he needed to tell her that. Marcus surveyed the room a little closer. There was a old sofa that would only seat two people and a wooded table that had two wooden chairs. They were in the middle of the room. There was also an old wood cook stove to cook with. The only other thing in the cabin was a bed in the second room. Other than that, there was nothing else in the cabin. "Are you sure that you want to start training so soon. You really wore yourself out with Kasey. You're not supposed to overdue it like that." Jesse said, giving Marcus a loving and tender look. Marcus gave her a boyish look of innocence that he did not posses and said, "Jess, I feel stronger than I did when I first learned I had the ability. I feel like I'm capable of anything. So, please relax. Drop the motherly routine. I won't break." He said this last with a chuckle. He new for a fact, everything he said was true. "Oh, your funny. OK, if you want me to run you through the ring, then so be it." She said with a coy look that made Marcus a little nervous. "So, what's do we do first? Telekinesis?" He asked, a little excited to begin. "Yes.... I have to teach you how to synchronize it with yourself," She then held up a hand when Marcus started to say something. "I know you can already do telekinesis if you focus. But you need to learn how to use it by reflex." She said calmly. "Sounds good to me. How do we go about it though?" Marcus asked, curiosity inside of him was starting to peak. "First I have to see how accurate you are," Jesse said as she walked to the front door and closed it. "Can you twist the knob and open the door.... Without tearing the nob off?" She asked that last with a smile. Marcus gave her a mock look of annoyance, then smiled. He focused on the door knob and it twisted ever so slowly. This slowness was not because of his inability to go fast, it was because he didn't want to rip the door knob of the door. After the knob was fully twisted, he held it in place and nudged the door open. "There." He said, looking at Jesse with a triumphant smile. Jesse just arched an eye brow and said, "Took you long enough." She said this with a shit eating grin as she stuck her hands in her jeans. "OK, hot shot. Why don't you show me how you do it." Marcus said with a smirk Jesse just lowered her shades and looked at the door with her beautiful eyes. The door suddenly slammed shut and the bolt lock on the side was slid in place. All of that happened in less than two seconds. Jesse just looked over at Marcus with a shit eating grin. That grin said 'Don't tempt me'. Then she just laughed. "Show off." Because there are two swords under the bed. Or at least they were the last time I was here..... But, I think that I would much rather take a nap.... Care to join me?"
