The Abduction of Laurie Fallon, Parts I-II
Friday, April 10, 1992

Laurie Fallon raised the intelligent alarm. Her whole being 
bore down double sharp notes from Abel's war, peeling glass 
with her shriek.

Just like in the movies, the one-time film student, Laurie, 
thought afterwards, remembering how Myrna Loy and Jean 
Harlow were murdered by Peter Lorre in the 1933 movie Taxi 
Murders Express directed by Josef Von Sternberg.

The Struggle for Righteousness: 

As the earthquake turned inside, Laurie confronted and beat 
at the man's thighs, reaching to crush his nuts, and she 
had him in her palm, and would have squeezed when her fear 
for the safety of unborn child, should she die in the next 
moment, left her breathless.

Leaping at his neck with her nails, she shred Abel's arms, 
neck, cheek and chest; he never considered her rage and 
contempt for such violations.

His scream was pity by comparison to hers, but often those 
who are abused as children stammer when failure 
precipitates crimes committed by such a man and his sister.

Abel's sister, Lilith, not physically present at Laurie's 
violation, but standing witness infusing guilt like glass 
melted over life as a design for stained glass memorials to 
sadism and its sport.

Losing the fight, Laurie's belly seven months fat with 
child, breathing terror and rage, her ache, and then pain 
stopped her short of victory. 

Laurie fell back sabotaged by mother instinct and then 
captured more by the fear of harm to the child she carried 
more than she being taken. 

At the turn of battle, at the alarm, imposed by reason, but 
not the end, Laurie submitted with the earth in her nails 
and Abel's blood in her mouth, his shattered cheek as red 
ribbons gathered around his neck like obscene jewels, so he 
said, showing them to Lilith as medals. 

Later, when Laurie looked again at these two minutes and 
much later the scars she set in flesh, she marveled at 
failed strength she blew into earth to open the sun again 
in a mirror of Nova, so she imagined and not like a meager 
David playing with the enemies, Laurie imagined they had 
slain.
