W riting a good story is hard work. Writing a good story that technically solid is damned hard work. If the story is good, then I'm willing to forgive the author when I'm trying to figure out exactly what gymnastics are being performed based on a convoluted description or I read how Frank is hammering into Tracy and then Julie moans in ecstasy. I've re-read my own writing over and over and missed simple editing mistakes that were immediately obvious to the next person to read it. If the author asks for feedback, then I'll occasionally offer editorial suggestions. As always, I solicit any feedback on my work.

These are good stories. Most of the are MC (mind-control) stories, and I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of them.

Unless otherwise noted, all stories are archived on the ASSTR/MCstories/ASSM web sites.

The Mighty Quin probably doesn't realize it, but he writes excellent MC stories. He appears to be more into the bondage and kidnapping aspects of the stories. I believe that he has a third party edit his stories, and it shows in their technical quality. Unfortunately he does not have a site at ASSTR, but he does appear to have a "semi-official" site hosting a couple of his best stories. The links here are to that site. After reading Quin's offerings there, you'll probably do what I did and search deja.com for anything he's ever posted.
Captured Caroline is outstanding. It is a work-in-progress, but don't let that discourage you. I await new chapters eagerly.
Doc's Orders is another fine story, with an excellent plot, great characters, and lots of gratuitous sex and violence.

Rass Senip is probably known to every MC fan for his efforts in the epic Tim The Teenage MC. If you haven't read it, then run, do not walk, to Rass' site and get started! It's a work in progress, but he's already at least twenty chapters ahead of you! Tim is set in a world modeled on one created by the next author.

Blackie is the author of the granddaddy of all MC stories: The Book. It may not be the first MC story, but it has to be the best known and still one of the best ever written.

Vax is the author of DemiGod, which is a story that pushed all kinds of fun buttons for me. It's well written with a good plot, and it has a nice blend of contemporary settings with gothic fantasy underpinnings.

Mr. House and Her Son, the Amazing Dog Trumpet wins the "best pseudonym" award, as far as I'm concerned. Fortunately MHaHStADT follows through with an excellent story simply titled Talent. It's another great "Magick and legendermain in a contemporary setting" story.

WhiteStar appears to have morphed into NetWolf. His excellent C.A.M.P. and his other fine stories have moved to his new web site (Note: Not at ASSTR/MCstories/ASSM.)

Artie is an outstanding writer (both technically and as a story teller.) I first got hooked on his Growing Up With Beth but have since read many of his stories. If you check out his web site I'm sure you'll agree: He never disappoints.
